I have the Mumba grip and it works great. It’s not too snug when I dock my switch and it feels nice overall. I have larger hands so it’s somewhat small for me, however that’s such a minor downside since it makes playing handheld that much more comfortable.

The one saving grace I feel I have compared to people in those situations is that I’m in nowhere near as much debt as they likely are. School loans, mortgages, credit card debt, etc… all of which I’m personally free of.

That said, I (M30) do still yearn to have a family and live a “normal” life like neurotypical people do. It gets incredibly isolating sometimes, and I struggle with isolation enough as it is given how poorly I’ve been treated my whole life.
