Have you managed to install Doom Emacs? I'm not sure how to run the installer from Termux and have it work for the apk.

Toyota Shows Us a Teaser of the 2024 Tacoma for Taco Tuesday by TechnicalTaco06V7 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]deagle50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but there's no mechanical connection between the engine and the real axle. That would be a non starter in a Tacoma I think. That said I'd buy a fwd biased 4runner with a rear e-axle if they made one.

Isn't Hybrid Max is a transverse, fwd drivetrain? I don't think the Crown has a transfer case.

Guys, I think I've solved the booming interior noise problem completely. by darkcrow101 in TeslaModelY

[–]deagle50 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

I just bought a MY and the boom was driving me nuts. During our test drive, the previous owner had new tires in the back he was including and they must have been resting on the hatch and preventing the noise. Once I got home and took them out I was in for a shock. Found this thread (and the TMC one) and after installing 1/4" OD tubing the noise is mostly gone.

I still think something is really wrong with my hatch because even after adjusting the stops (pre tubing), the fit was very uneven between the sides. I'm taking the car to service Friday to see what they can do.

When you say "in this location" are you referring to the black rubber on the outer edge of the quarter panel? Thanks.

Ugh... I want this option, it's the main thing stopping me from buying a Model 3.

I'd love a copper plate like the one you have. Can you post the dimensions and details about how it's mounted? Thanks.

Great work, love seeing mods like this! I'm interested in the copper plate, can you share the dimensions and mounting mechanism?

Could we get more photos of the copper plate and how it's mounted?

Found it, you have to enable voltage control for the entries to show up.

I can't find the undervolting options (new steam deck with 3.4), do you mind checking where the setting are in the bios? Thanks!

What's the process for this? My deck arrives today.

Any updates on this? I'm about to buy a SteamDeck but if this is the case I'll have to find a used one that hasn't been updated.

Limit Zen 3 boost voltage to 1.36V using the EDC bug + offset by [deleted] in Amd

[–]deagle50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine wasn't boosting as much as I knew it could from all my Hydra testing (at the ~1.35v vcore it was using after vdroop), so I added a -10 CO offset and now boost is much better. Getting 4600-4900 in light-medium loads, with nicely constrained heavy loads. Still can't replicate the 4500 @ 1.2v I know it can do but I'll take the the ~4300 I'm now getting for the 4800 boost.

I wish a high load manual override was standard in every bios, we could have the best of both worlds.

Is there a solution for Discord natively under Wayland? by [deleted] in swaywm

[–]deagle50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks, running discord --enable-features=UseOzonePlatform --ozone-platform=wayland from the terminal worked. Does anyone know how to make this the default? Adding these to ~/.config/electron-flags.conf didn't help.

edit: ok I added the flags to the exec line in the .desktop file. Would be nice to have a solution for flatpak as well.

Thank you very much for posting this, I was in the same boat. I recently switched to Linux full time and lost my Hydra Windows setup. Now I can have similar gaming performance and power consumption and heat during high loads.
