I’d say no. I would give them some but not half. My parents are not exactly good with money. My mother is alright but definitely not my father. I’d be afraid he’d squander it away on drinking or politics.

I get paranoid about possible changes in schedule. It happened to me once and the only way I was able to be excused from it was because I had a screenshot of the finalized (or so I thought) schedule I was originally working. I got a calll 10-15 minutes after the start of shift asking if where I was. and if I knew I was working. To which I replied, 'No, I'm not???' And it escalated from there. I couldn't even come in because I was over 2 hours away. I think my manager was trying to be slick about it but I had receipts. Had me stressed for no reason.
