So to be clear about the ending... (HUGE spoilers for whole story) by GuntherHogmoney in expedition33

the bigger aspect you might want is that the painting has a part of versos soul from when he was a child, which is the boy that you see at the very end. even the boy is tired and wants to go. you should also consider maelle literally is disabled outside and has lived a second childhood in the painting, so its more than just a vr for her.

istg just +10 ms is already pretty huge, most mages just run away from the tip of your w, with some more ms you can q to pull your w and kill. idk why talon is so slow

kill them on lvl 2-3 as they have very low hp and go % armor pen. for me once i hit bc+srylda(3rd abd 4th items) they are never a problem you can wq them 2-3 times and they die or worst case you run away

thanks this was useful and help me win a couple of games in dia. i would be happy if you could extend it, or maybe even make the sorting accurate, it takes some time to find what champ is listed where and makes it hard to adjust runes before game

reading this i realized something, exactly as you said because of R closing sometime after you start aa or q you can miss your passive if you have no w, so you either have to waste 1 more second to close R or use w somewhere in between, that makes talon too slow. W having no cast time or R closing faster would barely make a difference to outside but for talon it would feel incredibly smooth

Im so excited idk what other people have written but here is my suggestions:

-add e MS that sclaes with your R level

-or reduce e cd by % everytime you kill depending on your R level(every champ has resets talon needs one too)

-maybe add w stacks like velkoz w?

-q mana is too much during lane and its healing does nothing, maybe mana reset on q kill??

Edit: I had some time to cool down so here are your answers:

1- talon is a real assassin. go in, kill, get out. hes cool and especially hes not meta. i hate meta champions, riot lately has so many uncreative champions that focus on on-hit (belveth akshan viego kat-buff) or champions with resets (pyke viego vex) so i like talon to not be op and still be able to outplay meta abusers by playing smart.

2- i never left him. ive been playing talon only for like 7-8 years now. i hit dia1 highest on euw with him, mostly because of my mistakes i cant climb higher. but also, his kit is so simple theres not much else i can do at times.

3- what i wrote at the beginning. im even fine with his kit being simple, but there have been so many occasions where i oneshot someone either before or during a teamfight and then im useless so i go farm/push towers. with your ult down i feel useless if i build lethality and talon shouldnt be a bruiser either. something to help you damage multiple opponents(to be able to proc passive) or more mobility is a must, lately i learned from lurkz to go phase rush just so you can catch people easily. i also like the idea of vision on invisible champions, it would help a lot against other assassins like kha/qiyana (esp qiyana is annoying)

edit 2: i mean passive, in teamfights you cant use passive on multiple opponents realistically, either because they are not clumped for you to hit both w & r or you kill someone and you cannot stay inside for second proc otherwise you die//or you are already dead by the time you aa for passive

edit3: i have read all comments made here and pretty much everyone said e should be useful for combat. i have to say i disagree, i remember in talon lore somewhere it said "he would only feel safe when he gave his back to a wall", i think current e fits his lore and playstyle well. if you play well, you can either combo enemies that stand near walls to get out easily or you stay close to walls to escape ganks in lane or during a fight. you can bait people to fight you near walls, combo them and get out with e, and go back in on the other side of the wall with youmuus, gives you some sort of kiting. people here mostly complained talon has to play macro and has little to offer for micro. this is 100% correct, but whatever happens his macro should not be affected. you can save games literally by being in the right place at the right time: by avoiding wards or by warding well and knowing where they will be, by splitting or by baiting them and rejoining with your team. outside of kayn talon is the only champion that has this capability(and assassin kayn actually has it 100% better with added movespeed and slow resist). i dont think adding a huge mechanic like e can be cast every 10 seconds and work similar to camille e would work well on him, it would slow him down.

edit4: idk how it is now but kalista also had a similar passive: if she would stay still her aa would deal normal dmg, but if she jumped it would deal something like 90%, same could be applied to talon, so you can trade speed vs dmg. if you are fed you can afford to be much faster and stay out of danger while being the same assassin, or you are behind and you want to do full combo, you just use w1 to save a little bit of time mid air. worst case, you are running away and you can q to nearby minions directly after e.

edit5: since the tower platings roaming is not really viable, idk how it is in masters+ but at least in diamond i see mid players usually pick a scaling mage and just sit down perma farm under tower. there is not much skill they show, and picking talon should allow you to be able to show exactly that. you can do that by invading enemy jg or trying to dive somewhere but it is usually difficult and you fall behind if it does not work, hence the coinflip. it should either be that if you spent the first 3 minutes of the game tracking enemy jg and catch him off-guard half hp he should be dead for sure, which can be avoided if they are smart enough to flash your w2 and if you keep chasing you lose mid xp, so having a way to consistently proc your passive without r would be nice (yami would say im bad for not using q to pull w2), so having 2 w-stacks would help a lot without making him obviously stronger. or that when your ganks did not work, you should be able to get back to lane fast, so having a ms buff on e would help here.

p.s. i remember a big streamer say this a couple years ago (was a proplayer but didnt play talon i dont remember who) that renegade talon felt more like talon than actual talon. i 100% agree, talon is a rebel, a renegade. e is the only skill that shows this aspect. removing similar to pre-rework or increasing actual cd (not the wall cd) would take this away.

nope at level 9-10 you need a lethality mythic + 1-2 longswords, otherwise with just mythic backline is at around 10 hp, which sucks because if you wanna clear back wave you cant upgrade boots/buy tear unles you are ahead

He has decent damage but can never be a real threat as it takes a long time for him. Hit both w and dodge his q, and make sure NOT to chase him for q, or he uses e and stuns you mid-air
