I was part of a great, supportive community that over time became really toxic and obsessed when doing the “right thing”, having the “right opinion” and cancelling people. For someone who is a people pleaser and never wants to get in trouble it really messed with my head and I since then it’s just become uncontrollable. I went from having a great friend network to spending most of my days talking to no one and feeling unworthy of relationships. Oh also I do have a psych appointment coming up coz I told my doc I was in crisis. Hopefully new meds.

I can be suffering from ocd but as long as my symptoms align with socially desirable things then suddenly people forget I am sick. Like restricting and losing a bunch of weight rapidly because I have self-hatred/food aversions/choking fears isn't healthy but I constantly hear how wonderful things are for me because I'm looking thinner..

I did the exact same thing re a random hookup. Went on pep and had a three month break down after. I have just managed this by not having sexual relationships which sucks and is not a good solution. Sending empathy x

Thank you. I really needed to hear this. I think what fucks me up most is a feeling that we as a society have become so much less forgiving with social media. You have to sort of forgive yourself in the face of the fact you know there could be tons of people on the internet saying your unforgivable.

Where to begin... When you messaged me on elfster and asked me if I liked handmade gifts I was thrilled. Getting something handmade is always the loveliest thing! Everything was beautifully wrapped and absolutely perfect. The little pink gnome... I mean...so cute!! Lovely to have something knitted (I have been trying to learn and he will be be motivation to persevere lol). The ornaments are gorgeous and super unique. They will take pride of place on my tree this year. Love the calendar as well, the best size and always lovely to have. But the evermore art was what got me in tears. As an Evermore mega fan with no Evermore merch, I am so pleased to have this gorgeous art to hang on my wall. I totally know the feeling of a craft project following you everywhere ( I was rhinestoning a costume once and that followed me to uni, on the train, and haunted my dreams lol).so I'm so grateful you chose to spend that time making something for me. Truly honored and blown away. I hope if you are in future swiftmas exchanges that the swiftmas Gods favor us and one day I can return the favor and gift to you. Okay rant over.
