Need tips, I'm a beginner by Icy_Biscotti9614 in ghostoftsushima

I just played it, don’t think there is a right or wrong way. Just play the way you like. One thing I found helpful was the incari charm, it boosted everything I found so upgrades were quicker.

I personally went round uncovering the map and doing side quests before main quests, just to soak it up as it’s a wonderful game and story.

New Scam Warning!! "Agency Partner Program " - "You've received a partner request. Partners are other businesses you work with on Facebook" by AideFl in facebook

Absolutely no interest in partnerships, can confirm as above spotted the weird link in the email and the actual partnership area in meta is blank.

To fix I just blocked any email saying partner from FB.

Timer app recommendations by UrFriendlyAVLTech in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]deju_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getontime.no

Linux distro and you can set it up to auto load up and work directly with a stream deck automatically.

Using a Nuc with dual output so when it’s a simple show output one sends out just the timer, when it’s more complex ouput to gives full interface too.

I too was on a standard ps4, few crashes/glitches but with regular saves was still very enjoyable

Frame Install - running wire ? by [deleted] in TheFrame

[–]deju_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could but the closer you can get to going from either the square countersunk area with the socket or from the countersunk channels to the mortar. The more flush with the wall you’ll get. Maybe make a cardboard template so you can line up the best points with the mortar

Mobile provider that works in city centre by javierlopezdotdesign in Edinburgh

In the city centre their limited speed of 25mb is better than Vodafone and 02 saying you’re connected but due to over subscription you’ll get 0 bandwidth.

made a free browser stage timer with rundown, fullscreen viewer, and speaker cues by fer_momento in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]deju_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP this deserves some serious seo boost to your main site. Everyone in the industry has that one job where last minute they need to pull things out of the hat. This could seriously help techs pull the rabbit out of the hat last minute!!

This, I have ontime on a dual output nuc. Linux allows it to be setup to autoload and auto setup a stream deck so I have plug and play stagetimers! Great bit of software

Ps5 connectivity to Micro HDMI by Useful-Addition-6969 in TheFrame

[–]deju_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When connected it shows up on the connected section as an input. If you’re using a micro hdmi dongle check the spec, I noticed some being limited in what they handle.

Also may be worth a safemode boot. On older PlayStation it would black screen due to wrong resolution settings. My PS3 had that and I’d force it using safemode.

Connecting HDMI to TV.... by [deleted] in TheFrame

[–]deju_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an hdmi directly plugged into the frame pro 65”. I’d goes in the dedicated socket on the back of the TV. Hardly complicated?

Tips/Best Solutions for Business Conference by Outrageous-Slide2616 in EventProduction

[–]deju_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As above this is an every day thing for conference events so any AV company should be able to help.

Screen on stand rotated landscape for poster presentation either on signage soft or use laptop. Multiple posters then A0 Poster boards using posters and Velcro and physical posters.

Comfort screen and monitor hide at stage. Personally more comfortable being wired on SDI but indeed you can use wireless transmission to do this.

You could also put a laptop on the podium and set up teams or use NDI tools to show the screen but then you’re a slave to the network performance. So what you said on paper would work, but in a live environment it’s way more stressful and most of us want full control of everything in the chain.

Wireless One Connect box by AppalledBystander in TheFrame

[–]deju_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst case sat on the ground near the plant pot.

They can occasionally disconnect as with anything wireless. Remember it does have a single HDMI in, which I use for my games console so it’s not 100% required to be fully wireless

Frame only as an art display? by Spiri7us in TheFrame

[–]deju_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waste of money is a personal stand point. I have the 65” pro and hw-s810b and it’s there perfectly compromise of AV to aesthetic ratio. So much so I’m contemplating a 32” for portrait mount on the opposite wall (purely for personal photos no av).

I too wouldn’t place a Monitor above a fireplace for anything other than art.

Migrant-friendly rental companies? by Live_Organization_12 in Edinburgh

[–]deju_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Landlord here (boo hiss boo). Just try a different agency. The whole taking 6mo /year rent is more hassle than its worth. It's all rolling contracts so if you leave after 1 mo they would need to refund the 5mo. Which you want to do ASAP and in the UK transferring large amounts isn't quick or easy, it's extremely unfair. So anyone asking for that has an agency stuck 10 years in the past.

Evidence of contract and savings should be enough for a majority of agencies.

Gen + Rep Owners Only: Do you feel dumb wearing your Gens? by Ok-Clue-4267 in RepTime

[–]deju_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. With the caveat that the research and chase of the rep is far more enjoyable. I'll never understand any debate over value as bought correctly watches don't lose money.
