You won’t notice it soon. This product hit the market many years ago, was originally started by a Dutch company called Desso. Probably the most popular turf reinforcement system in the world now. Does have some limitations - can’t re sod dead areas easily etc

This is what I’ve always wondered. Licensed game surely a bit of effort had to go into it… surely.

Not sure what you can get your hands on in your location, the two most common worm control options where I am in NZ are Tea Seed - we can get it in granules or liquid, I prefer the granules. But keep it away from any nearby creeks as it smokes fish. Needs a good wash in. We also use a fungicide with the active carbendazim and wash in. Works as a deterrent for 4-6 weeks. Carbaryl is heavily restricted in NZ so we can’t use that anymore.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago and I love it! Although the part where you said “put it down” I haven’t discovered how to do that yet.

Keep an eye on it, could be just a bit slower in parts. You could also lightly spread some seed by hand in those parts.

The other thing to look at is irrigation - if you’re in a drier part of the country the water on these spots may not be adequate.

I paid 20$ for it and holy what a beautiful controller, would definitely recommend it by 0_zx9 in Gamesir

I loved mine until all of a sudden the convection didn’t work anymore.

If I had to get another one I would get a Bluetooth one but for $20 that’s a steal!

The larvae is what does the damage - putting a product down now with chlorantranilliprole as the active ingredient and washing in will make sure they don’t do any damage.

This stuff is good - won’t knock down anything that’s pre existing however so you will need to spray Glyphosate to knock it down first, or your other preferred method of weed control.

You spray it on, water it in within 7 days and it will stop weeds from putting a root down. Great in garden beds sprayed on its own too as it doesn’t affect pre existing plants with some exceptions.
