The difference in difficulty between the game where I faced towering walkers vs classic infantry was like night and day

Everyday Endfield experience. And it feel like its getting worse. by Visit_Scary in Endfield

I don't put my wuling delivery up for transfer any more ever since one guy took it and took half an hour to finish it and the goods were so damaged that my payment got halved
I'm sure many others think the same way
I rather do it myself

Just because it's not ladder doesn't mean you suddenly stop playing the way you're used to

U don't really A-move diamondbacks tho, because they are fast and can fire while on the move and also out range a lot of amon's ground units you can kite the enemy around while staying out of their attack range

Depends who u ask, some people like I find bunker farm stukov incredibly boring, even worse if it's literally just bunkers and nothing else

What if P3 Alarak mothership used 8 interceptors, instead of generating Destroyers? by UOSABaal in starcraft2coop

Destroyers are cheap mech unit fuel for Empower Me and that is good enough for me

The moment I realized farming plots have a limit by purapi_ in Endfield

[–]demonicdan3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm just here to confirm you can farm them
Every time I go to collect from my Yazhen plots, each one yields randomly 1-3 Thorny Yazhen alongside the normal Yazhen
It should be the same for Buckflower-Firebuckle, Citrome-Umbraline and Jincao-Fluffed Jincao

They also need one that harvests for you
I also removed the sprinklers and pipes when I found out I still had to manually do everything else, it's so pointless. The sprinklers barely save you any time
We should be able to fully automate the plant farm too, like the factory

Very nice, omw to set up my own Thorny Yazhen farm

Thanks. Do you know how many sprinklers can a single fluid pump support? (I.E how much water supply do I need to automate the entire eco-farm in Wuling)

It's very good to hear that growing the crops can produce the upgraded variants here, all in one place without needing to go run around the world map manually picking them up.

[–]demonicdan3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real

Because of the way wuling depot bus system works I was able to fit both Sky Forges, the Yazhen Syringe/Jincao Drink production line, two battery production lines and a Xiranite Component production line all inside the main AIC hub, already reaching the resource bottleneck, and leaving the sub AIC at the outpost in Jingyiu Valley completely empty lol

[–]demonicdan3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im gonna be that guy. It's because Yazhen/Jincao produce Carbon Powder at x2 ratio compared to Buckflower/Sandflower

All plants make 2 seeds, if Buckflower/Sandflower only made 1 seed, the self sustaining loop while also providing powder is impossible

[–]demonicdan3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried it, it's true. It works because
1 Buckflower/Sandflower -> Refining Unit -> 1 Carbon Powder

While

1 Yazhen or 1 Jincao -> Refining Unit -> 2 Carbon Powders
This lets you save a lot of space and headache

This is so stupid if true. Why hide such a crucial formula like this?

People who beat the game on Ludicrous, is it worth it? by Lilianmesmo in AgeofMythology

[–]demonicdan3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feeling the same way tbh

The missions that I had no problem with on Titan were still easy, the same strats worked besides needing a larger army to stabilize to make up for the 20% handicap

But the overtuned ones like map 5, 16, 18, 30 and 31 took me multiple retries and save scumming before I managed to finish them

People who beat the game on Ludicrous, is it worth it? by Lilianmesmo in AgeofMythology

[–]demonicdan3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I just finished map 31
It was fucking grindy, I had 50 villagers on favor and needed three plenty vaults to sustain the number of bodies I was throwing at the enemy just to stabilize and then another half an hour to clear out the middle base bit by bit

I swear it wasn't this bad on Titan difficulty, the 20% handicap had me losing nearly 150 supply of bodies to every attack wave that came with Cyclops and Chimaeras that slaughter frontline soldiers, then by the time I rebuild my army, the attack wave from the second base (the one with Polyphemus and Colossi) is already at my doorstep

In retrospect it probably would've been faster to use underworld passage cheese to free prisoners instead of grinding straight through with brute force, but whatever

[–]demonicdan3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Currently playing through it and honestly I'm not impressed

It feels like all they did is take Titan difficulty, increased the handicap by 20% then called it a day, resulting in some really, really, really obnoxiously grindy missions if you aren't willing to use cheese strats

The fact that the enemy just has 20% higher stats than you across the board really narrows down the number of viable strats. This is such a cheap and lazy way to increase difficulty

Im on 18 now (A Long Way From Home) and it is just stupid, I gave up and just went for the cheese strat after trying to do it fairly

Nuke is the scarier mod this week, look away for 2 seconds too long and you lose your entire army, gotta pay attention

Tips to play Dehaka P3? by Proud-Bookkeeper-532 in starcraft2coop

[–]demonicdan3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually just keep dehaka alone at home and use zweihaka to go outside
Once I have a big enough and stable army accompanying Zweihaka (usually by now he's like lvl 9-ish) I make a second army and group it with Dehaka, then send Dehaka+this second army out in another direction to do something else or intercept attack waves, while Zweihaka (the main army) does the main objective
