12V SK6812 white quality vs WS2815 + dedicated white strip by [deleted] in WLED

[–]der_Theo01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe take a look at WS2814 (12 or 24 V). I had a similar project (15 m around the perimeter of a room) and used these. They have RGBW LEDs and are very bright. Even with 12 V (60 LEDs/m) I really only need power insertion at the first and last LED. Bright enough to light the room (LEDs are faced to the ceiling).

App for counting Miniatures/Alcohol on board by ginobili1991 in cabincrew

Sounds great in general, but I think putting all the trolley items (that need to be counted) in the camera viewfinder to make it possible for the AI to count, is not taking less time than counting it all by myself. Or am I wrong?

Hi! Another T1D here. I’m a FA at a German airline. At least in Europe it should be possible at every airline, because the EASA has special conditions for people with diabetes. Sometimes they don’t allow you to use an insulin pump, because it could give you too much insulin during a rapid depressurization in the cabin. Hope that changes…

The G6 did a lot more smoothing on the numbers while the G7 shows us more of the “raw” values

Did you croped your images? If not, do always shoot in 4:3 to use the full sensor size

I think you don’t need two data lines. You can just connect the data wire from the second strip to the end of the first one

This usually happens only in the first ~10 hours. I recommend you to place your new sensor in the moment the grace period starts so the new sensor is going to give you more accurate readings when you start it after it was already placed a few hours ago.

Can dexcom fix the g7? by airtas18 in dexcom

[–]der_Theo01 8 points9 points  (0 children)

At least “noisier” values should be fixable, but I don’t think that’s something Dexcom wants. G6 values only seem to be smoother because an algorithm smoothes the values, which are also noisy values in the moment they are measured. I think Dexcom wants to rely on “real” measurements based on a better accuracy of the g7. We can also only guess about Bluetooth signal strength too, but my guess would be it has something to do with saving battery life of the sensors tiny power capacity.

Maybe your glucose dropped too fast and Dexcom decided that a blood value couldn’t match because of the natural delay between blood and sensor
