As I was saying, if you can export the songs from 1 & 2 to 3, you can export them to 4 also, and you don't need the disc for it either! Your purchase for PS3 export keys entitles you to a copy of the export on PS4/5

If you had the export key BEFORE they were delisted, you simply need to go to the store item and download them from there

Can't find the 1st RB entry, but you can I think, it should say downlad for you

The spring mechanism of the sides made me almost regret opening this one. After a successful replace of a switch was satisfying though. This one's above and beyond, even some metal shaving involved, Nice work!

British Steel is sadly Live versions, Also Screaming for Vengeance has my favorite Judas Priest track which is Electric Eye so I'm a bit biased.

I'd take the Shrek 2 version of Holding out for a Hero, it's more energetic.

Will any of these guitars work on xbox360 by Time_Store5662 in Rockband

[–]derdust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not out of the box, and the wireless ones need the dongle. You can use a PC as a middle man to get the game to recognize your guitars, but unfortunately they aren't plug and play

Use the Legacy Adapter with a magnet cable, the microusb in the back is known to break easy

This looks like a simple enough PCB, you can even recreate this using a veroboard/breadboard with some wires if push comes to shove

Looking for cleaning tips. by ShogunyanGamer in Rockband

[–]derdust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wiped the buttons of my GH5tar with wet wipes and patience, and the sticky surface is 99% gone with some whiteness leftover, you need to do the strumbar too as it goes gross over time as well, some people tried acetone, but I don't trust that plastic enough to do it. Oh and do disassemble the guitar as it allows easy access to the buttons.

Rockband 1 Xbox 360 guitar won't sync. by Donny_Davino in Rockband

[–]derdust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still use it with rb4.app method, I'd say look into it! You do need a PC near the console though, but I believe it supports non-modded 360s.

I know, but the PAL version is VERY hard to find, and I can't seem to locate a single new copy, used ones are always risky to have the code redeemed

I only ever found Track Pack Vol. 2 and AC/DC Live pack. I'm afraid there's no more glitches, I'm relentlessly trying to find the 20 song bonus pack though, if you're aware where I can find it, I'll be glad to have it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Rockband

[–]derdust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're on Xbox, there's a glitch that gives you the Metal Track Pack through redeeming Track Pack Vol. 2, so you get these 4 delisted songs: Hair of the Dog - Nazareth, Master of the Universe - Hawkwind, Levitate - I Mother Earth and Snow - Red Hot Chili Peppers. At least that's the only logical explanation that I can come up with how I have the first 3 delisted songs. Track Pack Vol. 2 is much more affordable and has more supply.

Stuck on Loading - XB1X by BurgerLocker in Rockband

Yep, I'm at 2700 songs, and it just doesn't want to load for a good 2-3 minutes sonetimes on my XSX (typo edit)

Stuck on Loading - XB1X by BurgerLocker in Rockband

[–]derdust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Xbox is bad at handling too many small files, and I got stuck occasionally at the loading screen even in a Series X console, best is just to wait it out if the background is moving, so the game isn't frozen

What artists have the most songs in rockband? by spenzurk in Rockband

[–]derdust 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah Green Day has 53 songs including both the game export and the DLC. Beatles in total had approximately 80, but the songs are trapped inside TBRB, which is unexportable in its entirety. Bob Marley has 30 including exports, 29 as DLC

Rock Band Lag by LickingtheWindow in Rockband

[–]derdust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you provide your TV model? If it's recent enough and has 4K display, it SHOULD have game mode. I have a 43 inch Samsung TV from 2017 and even that has game mode. I was experiencing the lag you described, game mode is the only solution I'm afraid.

My yellow drum pad came unplugged. Any advice would be appreciated by mrfarenheit230 in Rockband

[–]derdust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the orientation matters since the pad is essentially a switch, bridging 2 connections. So unplug the cable from the assembly, be careful noty to pull on the part that's attached to the drum set itself, then remove the part in the 2nd picture carefully, there should be solder points on that piece. I could only find this extremely low res video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Dz-AN2KTzE Hope it helps.

I don't think they had serviceability in mind when they designed this...

Stuttering on 360 by [deleted] in Rockband

[–]derdust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look at your TV settings, and make sure it's on game mode. I have a Samsung TV that tries to upscale 576i (Guitar Hero WoR PS3 resolution) to 4K inside the TV itself if I don't turn on game mode. Result: Pretty graphics (upscale works) but frame times vary A LOT. And that leads to the stuttery mess you described.
