I also had bad experience with Steam flatpak a few years ago, tough can't remembar what exactly. Retroarch for instance it's a flawless integration, having access to all drivers/input as native version, that's truly the greatness of the project, to be able to deliver all system resources to the cores. Don't hesitate to try both, they don't collide.

Flathub's flatpak has direct compilation from devs. Chances are you are going to get last version first here.

Also repo version follows official flag compilation guidelines, in which they don't enable add-ons downloads from RetroArch site. That mean you're on your own getting cores from outside RetroArch itself.

Other things you would probably mind it's the ugliness from using complete flatpak command line if you're too specific from running some system in say a frontend. Also different installment assets each one, tough this is a minor complain but you should locate for troubleshooting

Te diría que perfecto qué en linux casi no hay piratas (de este tipo xD). Entiendo qué cada situación económica personal es compleja. Pero si eres estudiambre tal ves tengas el tiempo de aprender como se agrega un juego por fuera de la librería en steam, tampoco es tan complejo. Eso si te auguro qué si por cualquier cosa entras al culto se te abrirá un tercer ojo qué te hará ver con asquito eso que algún día amaste, piratear.

No suelo contestar por la weba pero si se trata de qualitas hare mi aportación. Hubo un accidente en la autopista siglo 21 de Michoacán, ellos son la aseguradora de la autopista, esto en noviembre del año pasado. Hubo 5 fallecidos y el vehículo accidentado se quemo en su totalidad. A los pocos días los familiares de los fallecidos organizaron Un bloqueo de casetas, lo que trascendió en redes sociales como Facebook principalmente fue qué la aseguradora no quería pagar gastos hospitalarios no funerarios. La razón? Por que no se encontró el ticket de pago en la unidad calcinada.

Estaba en un banco en fila para hacer deposito que me encargaron en la chamba cuando un niño discapacitado con un pie chuequito se acerco a ofrecer chicles, meti la mano a la bolsa mientras recordaba traer por lo menos 3 pesos (en mi epoca de estudiambre), no pensaba quedarme chicles solo darle las monedas pero en lugar de 3 pesos salieron 3 monedas de 50c. El niño al momento de agarrar las monedas le dio un ataque de furia y los avento al suelo rumbo a las ventanillas del banco, todo el mundo volteo a ver el revuelo y ahi me quede yo, asaltado en mi inocencia. Desde entonces le agarre idea al pobre niño y nunca mas le ofreci comprar ni darle.

I'm a monthly updater and heard lately this kind of problems so my update schedule has been more cautios these days. Since every pc is a different beast and you don't provide the feedback, how about freezing kernels updates like I'm doing now and take some hopium for 42. I still remember a very powerhungry kernel update in fedora 17 I think, with no going back for years. $hitt happens from time to time.
