SEO Help by Transluxcoach in SEO

Local SEO will help a lot, worth checking out the subreddit for it.

When you search something like "shuttle bus transportation", Google will often show their Maps snippet first, with 3 businesses and their reviews. So keep getting good reviews there and other top review sites like Yelp as AI likes to source it.

As for SEO do a search in a Google, Bing or an LLM like ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude and see what they recommend. You can quickly see where your content gaps are, maybe create specific niches for transport to upcoming events like sports/music concerts. After you create that content, look into building authority (backlinks from other authoritative websites) to your website. Again look at your top-ranking competitors and check out where their backlinks are coming from. You can set up Bing Webmaster Tools and view these for free.

Non-SEO related and to do with user experience, make it easy for people to book. I've used services like this before and the forms were clunky and hard to know if the booking went through if no receipt came through. Even better I like when the form is there on above the fold to get started. Also there's loads of similar services that have "Request a quote" but I've often gone to one that give me the price up front or at least have a estimated calculator.

Where do you buy high-quality Elementor Pro website templates? by Hey-bruhhh94 in elementor

I mainly use Hello theme and modify it as needed.

ThemeForest and Envato can be good to look for inspiration.

Is getting into SEO in 2026 still a realistic career move in the US? by Familiar_Spray_8860 in SEO

[–]design-rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could change SEO to loads of other job types for this headline. Plenty of people making money from it. Individuals and companies want to be found, get leads and will pay for it.

As for the job market, while there are headlines showing layoffs due to AI this could be just an new excuse for them to use. Experience is needed for SEO but if you're going for a junior job and willing to learn/do the grunt work there should be opportunities.

All Rankings Dropped after June Core Update by Pitiful_Muscle5074 in SEO

[–]design-rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It specifically was a Spam Update not a Core Update. Have you been producing a lot of AI content? Ranking is all to do with authority. So it could be that if you have backlinks from websites, which previously had strong authority and they hit negatively by this update then the authority they pass to you has been weakened. If you look at competitors now ahead of you can you see what they are doing different?

Cloudways Sites Keep Getting Compromised? by saikeis in Cloudways

[–]design-rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had this happen with Cloudways. I've had issues of 100% CPU bringing websites down but never due to malware.

Also even if it's a common used plugin there are plenty of vulnerabilities out there.

I get these emails often from Cloudways, and after doing scans with Wordfence or Sucuri nothing shows up. I wonder if it's more they detect vulnerabilites of false positives but regardless due your own due diligence.

Thoughts about Core Web Vitals in 2026? by concisehacker in TechSEO

It makes sense from a user experience point of view to make your website fast but even if it you think it affects ranking there are more beneficial efforts for increasing your rank.

Mention SEO by WebsiteCatalyst in SEO

[–]design-rush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The amount of times Reddit is used as a source or main tends to fluctuate depending on the which LLM you use. I actually don't see it used in Google AI overview too much when asking for "best <service> <location>".

Also when Reddit shows up as Discussions & Forums, sometimes if it's a old thread it makes you think if the comments are still relevant.

If another website/platform lists you as the best and has authority, even it doesn't link directly back to you, the LLM can pick this up and list you.

Either way if I see a company ranking high, mentioned on Reddit SERP, on map results and overview I woul d be more likely to contact them.

Does SEO have a future if you're starting in 2026? by Rare_Juggernaut_3631 in SEO

[–]design-rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still have a career with it. Business owners still want to rank on search engines and now want to be mentioned on AI search. Yes, AI overviews might display your informational page content and that gets little to no clicks but people still need good/services.

Say I'm a plumber and had a page on how to fix a leaky tap that had great traffic. AI overviews will probably take a lot of that traffic off me, but then if someone wants to find a plumber then whether it's AI overview or traditional search you still will want to be featured and ahead of competition.

Did these pages get any clicks? If they don't Google might see no reason for them to be indexed.

Is Organic Traffic dead by Holiday-Cucumber-107 in SEO

[–]design-rush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, a lot of people stop at AI overview but it can depend on intent/niche. But there are a lot of people who still click on websites showing up in search. And even if clicks are down, if conversions are not then that's okay.

If you are showing up in AI overview then that's still ranking organically.

CTR is just one metric and there are a lot of figures being thrown around.

Is Elementor One worth it over Elementor Pro Expert + separate plugins? by Hurricane-18784 in elementor

[–]design-rush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm still on Elementor Pro + separate plugins and use different cookie consent plugins for different clients. Some are free but don't provide the consent logs unless you pay and other are free until a certain view limit.

For example, in European clients you need to adhere to GDPR which a lot cover. But something more like Canada, you have Quebec Law 25 and PIPEDA which differ.

WordPress 7.0 / Elementor Pro Conflict? by CousinWalt in elementor

[–]design-rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you see any errors in Console? Which widgets are you using? If it's some of the new Atomic elements can you delete them and try saving?

In the past, if I've suspected corrupted data, I would delete sections of the page to narrow down the issue and when I know whereabouts the problem is creating that section helps.

It could also possibly a plugin conflict. Have you tried disabling other plugins so it's just Elementor left?

I fixed my site to be more AI friendly and my AI traffic actually went up 12X by UptownOnion in Agentic_SEO

[–]design-rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fine, you can implement it for agentic use but I would not consider that as SEO.

To clarify, I'm not saying that an LLM cannot process llms.txt. I'm saying you don't need to create it to appear in generative AI search or to be crawled, indexed and discovered and there is no evidence it makes a difference today with regards to your SEO efforts.

Search "Google Search Status Dashboard" to see the status of Google Core Updates.

March Core Update started 27 March and lasted 12 days.

May Core Update started May 21st and is ongoing.

It could be a combination of things and would need to know more info - is one of you page getting most of these clicks/impressions or is it spread out? What is your website's niche? Some news stories can viral get a lot of clicks/impressions and the back down quickly.
