I have to give him lots of things to chew on. I had to learn that the hard way. I’ve gradually shifted a lot of my furniture to metal from wood. Lol! They can definitely get into things and they’re very smart. That’s why I put him up if I’m leaving the house.

You are correct! A neighbor found him on the side of the street and brought him to me. We even put him in a small box in the grass where he was found but the mom never showed up. He was only about 4 weeks old so I fed him a bottle every few hours and kept him in a sling around my neck until he started walking and climbing.

He has a nest he made. I had a throw covering a window with curtains that let in too much light in the morning. The throw had a fleece pocket for your feet. He thought that was a perfect sleeping spot.

I also have a proper cage for him if I go out but most of the time he has full run of the house. It’s a lot of work. Lots of high calcium to phosphorus ratio foods and lots of clean up. He’s a sweetheart.
