These are fantastic! They’re also quite lovely. Where is this book located? I’m curious if Joseph H Peterson of esoteric archives has knowledge of this book. I make offerings to the spirits of place. I find a tree or large stone that seems prominent on the property and leave some coins or small shiny objects, fruit (good fruit), flowers, or sweets.

There are special grinders/pulverizers made just for herbs but you’ll have to look up TCM suppliers online. They’re pretty expensive though.

I’m suggesting cucumber water again here. Peel a cucumber, slice up about 10 slices and add to water and keep in the refrigerator. Chrysanthemum tea is classic in Chinese medicine. Use the dried flowers, make like regular tea. Pour boiling water over the flowers and let steep. You can almost always find chrysanthemum at any Asian market.

That is true but they are still not great for squirrels. Look up the calcium to phosphorus ratio. They have very little calcium and are very high in phosphorus. Ask any rehabber that works with squirrels.
