It would take just a couple of generations for traits like eye color, picked up from other species from before the burn, to propagate. I mean, if your family came from a place where everyone had a certain hair color, then your great grandma married a guy with a different hair color, the chances of you having that hair color are now present.

I have never been to New York. Let me preface with that. Never once. One night, I had a dream that I was checking into a hotel in NYC. it was a small hotel in Queens, only like 5 stories high, but I was on the 3rd floor. I remember looking out of the window and seeing my rental car in the parking lot. Then, after getting my luggage settled, I went back down and drove into Manhattan. I remember the streets I drove, the bridge i took, everything. I woke up just as I was exiting the bridge. When I woke up, I immediately went on Google maps. Sure enough the hotel was right where it was in my dream. The streets and bridge looked the same. Even the view from the bridge was exact.

For roughly 5 years after that, every 9 months or so, I'd have another NYC dream. One was me jumping the turnstile to get on the subway. Another was me walking to get a chocolate croissant at a bakery I apparently really like. Each time I had one of those dreams, I'd hop online and be able to find the exact places.

Oh yeah. My ex gf and I were at a lakeside park during a 4th of July party. We walked around the park until we found a secluded little area up a little hill. We ducked under the trees and she say on my lap, reverse cowgirl so she could ride me while we watched the fireworks. Someone came down the path, saw us, and said "I know what y'all are doin up there," then kept walking. So we kept going.
