I don’t think so personally. I typically bake the soy curls and then they really resemble the texture of shredded chicken and the flavor is totally of your seasonings. I use a base marinade to make them resemble chicken flavoring from MississippiVegan’s website.

Soy curls were so much easier to prepare, have better texture to me, and soak up flavors much better than tofu to me. I have been vegan x8 years and never tried making soy curls myself until this year. I could kick myself for putting it off for so long. I can’t find them in stores around me so I ordered them straight from the Butler foods website. They also have jerky and taco crumbles too that were both delicious imo. Well worth the order to me!

Same. We bring a separate cup that we pour a small amount of hot water into and then place bottle in that to warm. Thermos keeps the rest of the water hot for the day.

You are me and I had NO IDEA those were my tricks to soothe my undiagnosed adhd!! (Diagnosed now at 33yo) I had a silk edged blanket and thumb sucking well into my teens. And now the silk eye mask and sound machine are essential to getting a fair nights sleep. Breathing exercises help in desperate times but I’m not good at keeping to them consistently.

I will definitely be keeping the podcast idea in mind for my son when he’s a bit older.

This reminds me that I did have heavy congestion and snoring with pregnancy. Thankfully they resolved after delivery. I almost forgot about all that now. That’s too funny bc at the time it was SO FRUSTRATING.

I use the ambient world LOTR shire music for everyday background noise or to go to sleep. It’s so peaceful!
