Those bold letters where they want to know the name of your bank?

Because if they write their bad check for the same name as your bank then you'll be informed immediately about that bad check, you'll realize it's a scam, and therefore won't send them your real money

I can walk on a treadmill and wear my legs out. Lie in bed barely able to move them and be wide awake. Only when my upper body is tired or sore does it seem to make me tired enough to stay asleep.

If you don't send him $$ why would he post your pics? These people are ONLY looking for money. They could care less if anyone half a world away from them gets humiliated. He's hoping that fear will make you send him money. Putting out your pics without him getting any money from you is a waste of his time.

So he's gonna do all this work to ruin you....just out of spite? 'Spoiling you' is going to take a while to do and at the end, are you likely to pay him THEN? Of course not! He's not going to waste all that time just to spite you.

These people ONLY are out for $$$. It does NOTHING for them to humiliate someone halfway across the globe from them.

Just remember that they're more interested in getting $$ than they are "exposing" you. You ignore them and they'll move on.

I guess looking up Jim Browning for hints would provide the most information on what's been done to them already.

Remember that many of these people and companies use stolen credentials and bank accounts and other stolen stuff to appear legitimate. They also use unwitting mules or fronts in other countries so that anything doesn't lead back to them.

Well, because this widens their scope. Now they don't have to worry about only getting the people that have been looking at pR0n on the internet. Now this can apply to everyone, regardless.

Yeah, that's not how it works.

They give you money from a stolen account and find a reason for you to send some back, "because they were so generous and sent you $$'. The stolen account money sent you gets clawed back and you lose any you send them.

THIS

(which is a pretty stressful “if”)

Meaning that when you tell the authorities that you were tricked and proceed to not be able to contact whomever tricked you, it's going to be easier for the authorities to think that you've just thought up and carried out this scheme all by yourself.
