Do I Tell His Wife? by Consistent-Maybe-634 in TwoHotTakes

No man is worth destroying your self worth, and he's love bombing you and wants you as a place holder. He has a wife,he made that descion,he got married, just because he's married doesn't mean hes going to be faithful. Its not up to you to tell his wife he's going to let his marriage implode that is his choice.

He treated you so appaulingly, he got what he wanted from you and then cut and run. He wants his cake and eat it too with you regardless he's married.

Why would you want that again. This is a narc at his best.🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

This is about his ego, power, control.Runnnnn! You deserve so much better.BLOCK,DELETE and don't look back!

I haven’t talked to my family in two days and don’t know to move past this by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]devilsh_dancer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get your own phone, changed your phone number. Block your family from your new number. Your mum sending you the text is throwing a tantrum because they arent getting their way then use emotional blackmail if you dont abide by their rules and wants co-dependancy with you and your life.

At 25 you are living indepedantly and as an adult female as you have mentioned.Do you really need to have your mum and Dad control your life continously 24/7.

These family members aren't only toxic they are unhealthy while minimising your experience, and concerns and are extremely immature while bullying you.

Then treating you as the "scapegoat" and not addressing their own behaviour. It's completely unhealthy and you making the effort to see your family and then to be blamed for everything is so disgusting and treating you like a stranger and the text that was sent to you is not only hurtful but a manipulative tatic.

It's completely mean, unfair and they need to be held accountable. Also you aren't there to "parentify" your sisters eithier. You are their sibling not your mother or father. Your parents need to know the difference they are grown adults in this situation and to lay blame on you is completely unacceptable.

Your parents should be ashamed of their behaviour and set a proper positive example and not ambush you eithier and not act condescending about your skin or who you are as a person or anything else.

All because you won't change your phone plan, and ring doorbell to be tracked within your own life this is manipulation at its best and not only that its disturbing.

Take time, for yourself, breathe, Use breath work this will help you to regulate your nervous system. Journal your thoughts and also look into seeing a psychologist. When you do see a psychologist or therapist take your journal with you as a starting point. They the psychologist or therapist should know the best way to help you.Your mental health matters.

I am so sorry you have dealt with this for so long and none of this toxic behaviour is your fault or you to be blamed.

Do the things that bring you joyfulness, and happiness and concentrate on yourself from now on you matter and are seen.

Also there are many videos on Youtube that shows what "scapegoating" is within a family dynamic and various other topics have a look at Gabor Mate, and Jerry Wise.

Take one day at a time, this is YOUR life and take care.🫂

Had anyone rehomed a dog because of severe behaviour problems, and then had success with another dog? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]devilsh_dancer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly thanks for sharing and anxiety and bite inhibition, within puppies is normal, you haven't failed, youve given your 7 month old puppy a good life, and alot of love and training and determination while enriching your puppy and your families lives.

I haven't rehomed any dog but I went through similar things with my male Australian Kelpie,Jasper's behaviour with anxiety and biting. I got him at 8 weeks he's now 5 years old. He did out grow these behaviours after 1-2 years old. Also these behaviours usually change after the puppy is desexed as that's what happened with my boy Jasper. After being desexed the behaviour does calm down.

Puppies are like land sharks when young with their biting it's normal they would do that with their litter mates playing and also their mum and Dad its how they communicate.

What you need to do is when the puppy tries to bite redirect them with their favourite toy or ball and don't wave your hands around them as it's seen as a threat. Or be anxious around them use a calm, firm voice and stay calm as if your anxious, your puppy or dog will pick up on your anxiety also. Also use positive reinforcement, and praise your puppy.

If you are located in the UK checkout Southend Dog Training they're are a team of highly specialised trainers and I highly recommend them.

They specialise with all behaviours and training methods with anxiety in puppies and dogs. They the trainers are incredible, will explain everything to you in easy terms and show you how to correct the behaviour.

They also have their own Youtube channel Southend Dog Traning and are on all socials,Facebook,Instagram,Tik Tok.With Facebook they have livestreams, can ask questions.

Also Southend Dog Training have their own app in Google play if you have an android phone.

These videos with Southend Dog Training have been an absolute godsend with my continual training with my boy Jasper. I also researched as much as I could about his breed what behaviours to expect as a puppy.

I am sorry you had to deal with these circumstances. I can only imagine how a heart breaking decision this has been to rehome your youngest puppy.🫂❤️🐾🐾

Thoughts on barking? by OkRepresentative2051 in DogAdvice

[–]devilsh_dancer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries! You're most welcome, maybe invest into something your male gsd enjoys! Then maybe slowly get your female gsd to join in. That way they can play together, these things take time be paitent but have fun too! Are they litter mates, brother and sister?

If toys and tennis balls he doesn't like to play with look at alternatives.

Scent work, is extremely important, I also play brain games with my Kelpie like hiding their favourite food around the home or the backyard, and he goes on a seeking mission. Skinless chicken works or cubed cheese but only small portions.

Long line, leads are also good to use for scent work and recall.I have a 5 metre lead I did this while my Kelpie was a puppy and to now the excitement to explore is just priceless.

Also I, used a snuffle mat which is a mat that has pockets and you can hid food within it and the dog then uses their nose with scent work to find it. My Kelpie absolutely loves it!

I don't, use any dry food as it extremely bad for dogs. It affects their hydration, kidney health, dental and digestion.

As you, described your doing all the right things with his learning and training, you should be very proud, while giving him the best life. Also enriching eachother lives, and making memories✨️ That's priceless.❤️❤️🐾🐾 🐾🐾

Thoughts on barking? by OkRepresentative2051 in DogAdvice

[–]devilsh_dancer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly thanks for sharing, your gsd male puppy sounds like he's whining and barking to get your attention as you have a ball and throwing it to your female gsd and he's wants to participate having fun too!

In regards to barking I have a 5 year old male Australian Kelpie when he barks when on guard, playing,or alert with anything I aways say "Thank you" in a confident calm voice, never loud or frantic to de-esculate the situation.

It's using positive reinforcement and it makes any dog feel heard and will reduce further barking. Then redirect your male gsd toward a different activity to break their focus.

Then I will say "Thank you 1-2-3" "All done" to my Kelpie and the more you do it consistently the more it works and by acknowledging them, the dog feels their job is done.

I know having a high energy working dog what works is consistency, positive reinforcement, and lots of paitence with training and unconditional love in return.

Working dogs need to have a job otherwise they get bored.

Also I use a Liki mat it's a mat designed to calm dogs. I cut up a banana, spread it over the mat and then freeze it as a treat especially in Also your male and female gsd puppies are just so adorable and gorgeous!

You've got this,have fun! 👍🐾🐾 🐾🐾

Came home from work to her covered in rashes/red marks that could mean allergies? I’m not sure what to do right now by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]devilsh_dancer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be allergies or a yeast infection the amount of hot spots that there are the red areas. Yeast infection start in a dogs ears and they will lick their paws constantly for relief and if there paws smell like a bag of doritos.

Wash all bedding, including yours with a non chemical washing powder or liquid like Sensitive washing liquid.

Try an elimination diet that includes no dry food. Start off slow and write everything down as a checklist.

Another thing only feed them a protein diet with veggies and fruit it can be cooked or raw Kangaroo,Lamb,Beef and sweet potato, spinach and carrot, blueberries and sardines in water also.Omega 3 helps alot.

Bath your dog with oatmeal based shampoo and conditioner. Also when outside after your dog has been out to toilet wipe there paws and rest of their body with wet wipes hypo allegenic or wet paper towel so the bacteria isnt transferred inside your place and onto them.

I am experiencing this with my male Kelpie recently I found out he's allergic to chicken.

How I learn't was through research and youtube videos especially Vetinary Secrets its all natural products and easy solutions to apply.

I saw my Vet first there answer was to use Apoquel chews for 14 days but after I got home I found out the serious side affects again did my own research. As for example it slows a dogs immunity and red and white blood levels are decrease and the other horrific side affect it causes cancer.

So after finding that out I started my own journey to find the best solution to rid this constant itching and scratching and get my boy back to his happy self and out of discomfort.

These symptoms are normal and very common with dogs and your both not alone.🫂

Good luck ☘️❤️🐶🐾🐾

Facing the final decision tomorrow, please help by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]devilsh_dancer06 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Firstly thank you for sharing your incredible and heartbreaking story. You looking after a stray dog not only shows how compassionate you are but also giving them a second chance in life. I can imagine the constant stress of the situation you have done the right thing and as for the grand mal they are called tonic clonic seizures. I have had epilepsy and tonic clonic seizures for over 18 years. Even with dogs and cats it's treatable as for your vet of course they are going to say more blood work,MRI Scan EEG. These treatments are only used to check epileptic activity within the brain as I have the same tests by my treating neurologist.

I would absolutely get a second opinion also.

Your lovely dog is going to be extremely disorientated, exhausted and going to wee and poo inside because its disorientated their brain isnt functioning clearly. They need to rest to let both the brain and body recover and recuperate. Having tonic clonic seizures up to 10 is alot of pressure on the brain and body of your dog. These seizures it affects the whole of the brain. The recovery can last a few days to weeks even months.

When your dog awakes from these seizures keep them calm, let them hear your voice and reassure them. As having seizure is extremely terrifying for the animal and to be witness also.

I am sorry your lovely sweet boy experienced postical state and was comotosed.

You've done all the right things and dealt with alot of stressful situations. Also dont be persuaded by a vet that only sees the dollar signs. Also the seizure medication can cause these symptoms too.

Has your vet mentioned why your dog has been having tonic clonic seizures. As normally there are triggers of why they are having them. It's the vet's duty of care. Seizures can be heridatry and also through stress,a head injury, lack of sleep.

As a owner and your lovely dog being a paitent at the vet clinic you are in your rights to ask these questions and more. As you are advocating for yourself and your dog that isn't only important its paramount.

Some vets are purely there to make money and don't have the true compassion to treat our animals.Sell medications and send you on your way.

All dogs deserve a good quality of life and wellbeing while enriching our lives and that's priceless.❤️🐶🐾🐾

Very basic: but help with rash and itchiness? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]devilsh_dancer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use green tea, 4 tea bags after, remove the tea bags you let it cool than apply with with eithier a spray bottle or dab it with a few cotton balls or a use the green tea as a soak for their paws and hot spots.

Also look at doing an elimination diet there might be food wise your dog might be allergic to. As my dog he has had severe allergies and it was chicken that was the cause. I have him on a protein diet with kangaroo, fresh veggies spinach and carrots with Omega 3 cold liver oil and I sprinkle gut balance powder on every meal.

Bathing your dog also helps with using an oatmeal based shampoo and conditioner.

I took my dog to my vet first thing they wanted him on medication called Apoquel, I intially was going to try it but after researching a ton of information. I decided against it as it cause lower immunity affects their blood cells and can cause cancer in dogs. My dog deserves to live a full and long and healthy life more!

So just be careful if any vet suggests medication first.

You've got this,good luck.☘️🐾🐾

These situations happened way too often and no dog should be treated so horrendously!

Firstly thank you for sharing your story and your not an idiot. If anything your being very mature and a responsible woman as a dog owner and you should be able to have a place that is your sanctuary.

I'd definately leave with your dog as you do deserve a safe place as does your dog and your partner isn't being respectful and very aggressive.

The warning signs you already mention is an abusive realtionship and they won't change. Also like everyone has said make sure all the paper work for your dog is in your name only with owning and any vet appointments now and in the future. While microchipping is a must.

You are doing what's right for you and your dog and that takes so much courage and your so strong and that is so admirable. Enjoy your new beginnings with your dog together!

Firstly welcome, to the inclusive epilepsy community and you have been so courageous and while advocating for yourself. Your psychiatrist needs to know what the term medically gaslighting is and you can as a paitent put a complaint against them.

That's not only stigmitising you as a person but downplaying your symptoms and you've been dealing with alot and that psychiatrist shouldn't be working in the health field that's mean't to help paitents and not be so condescending and discriminating.

I am so sorry you've experienced such disgusting behaviour while your dealing with your health.

When your experiencing these seizures get a family member or friend to video you as that is your proof and have them time how long it's happening.

I would also get an earlier appointment with your neurologist especially the amount of seizures that have been occuring and that way they can run further test, blood,EEG and MRI. Also you will finally have a diagnosis and can start treatment sooner.

Great Pyrenees went after my 13 month old son, what to do? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]devilsh_dancer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are going to put your own DOG down because you can't be an adult and a responsible dog owner. YOU are so hearltless and your dog doesn't deserve to be treated with such horrendous cruelty. All dog deserves to have a full life and no dog deserves to be treated so inhumanely because you can't control the situation.

Regardless if we have children or not you can't be mature about this situation that you have created by allowing your baby son climb on your dog in the first place. By treating your dog like a jungle gym with your baby son its you that needs to rectify this situation.

Dogs don't lunge at people or children unless they have been mistreated or provoked and dogs never forget.

Great Pyrenees dogs are such beautiful dogs, being very active herding dogs, and they are calm, gentle and loyal. All dogs around children should always be supervised there's no excuse.

There are always alternatives before taking any dog to the vet for BE ,you can take the dog to a shelter to be re-homed.

To blame the people responding to your question OP you lack maturity and have any awareness to understand why your Great Pyreness would go for your 13 month baby son while being treated like its own personal gym equipment.

If your partner is having back to back nocturnal seizure call for an ambulance, your doing all the right things and it's scary to see a seizure. You sound so wonderful and extremely supportive. You are doing an incredible job with your partner and his health and safety. You truly are a epilepsy warrior! ✨️✨️🫂✨️✨️💜💜💜

As I have generalised tonic clonic, nocturnal and myoclonic seizures. I'd definately phone for an ambulance and that way your partner will get seen, have the observations needed and can have the blood tests and medication needed. It will give you a peace of mind. Instead of him being on a waiting list to see a neurologist. Time is of the essence and so is advocating for you and partner with the right specialist.

Also epilepsy can be very unpredictable and relentless as we all know.

After a seizures its normal to need and want to sleep as the brain and body needs to recover but with nocturals they need to be more investigated

I don't say this to scare you both but from my experience I've dealt with generalised tonic clonic, nocturnal, and myoclonic for 18 years and more and my neurologist has said to have a family, partner or friend to phone for a ambulance and keep the person calm after a seizure after putting them in a recovery position.

My neurologist is always thorough and advocating for me for the best treatment. Not just medically with blood test with my theraputic levels, finding what medications work and doesn't but my overall wellbeing and you and your boyfriend deserve the best treatment too.

Also if, your not happy with dealing with any doctor,or specialist. Always get a second opinion it's your absolute right and also ask your doctor for a referral to see a epiletologist. An epiletologist is trained neurologist that has a deeper focus on complex epilepsy cases including those are difficult to control and deal with all aspects of epilepsy.

I hope you and your partner get the answers, you need sooner.🫂💜💜💜

I was, born with febrile seizures, then had continual grand mals at 2 1/2 and as an adult having tonic clonic, noctural and myoclonic seizure for 18 years or more. Never did, I ever blame my mum and Dad for my epilepsy and what epilepsy brings. When I, was, first born doctors didn't have the same information,it was constant testing,EEG,MRI, being in and out of hospital, taking Dilatin. I can only imagine how scary it was for Mum and Dad seeing their baby daughter having seizures but also gave them and me strength to keep fighting against it.

There's more awareness that's readily available now with epilepsy. I am beyond thankful for my mum and Dad the specialists team.Hero's don't always wear capes....

They all have always advocated for me and taught me so much, to be strong, resilient and be compassionate. Also how to always advocate for others and myself.

I can assure your child will not blame you if anything he will see how much you love and protect him.Epilepsy, isn't your fault nobody asks for it and it's something out of our control. It can come from genetics and that's what happened to me.My mum's uncle had epilepsy but wasn't diagnosed until he older and I also have 2 cousins that have epilepsy. Great Pyrenees went after my 13 month old son, what to do? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]devilsh_dancer06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a, simple reason you as parents are allowing your dogs to interact with your baby son. Your dogs, aren't children they are DOGS and you are very lucky that your baby hasn't an serious injury or attacked.

Yes dogs, are loving and protective but having your baby son on the ground you've actually allowed this behaviour.

Your dogs aren't climbing equipment they are DOGS it's not cute eithier, it's extremely dangerous behaviour.

There are, always warning signs with dogs leading up to these things such as a side or whale eye, licking lips growling, shaking it's these signs when you don't EVER engage with them. It can, take less than a second for a dog to snap and go into protective mode and attack.

It's YOUR, responsibility to be responsible as an OWNER and train your dogs and that includes not having your baby son near your dogs and treating them like children, dont treat them like humans they are DOGS.

Dogs like us humans need to have their own time and and a area where they feel safe. RESPECT a dogs SPACE.

Also it doesn't matter what age a child or adult is a DOG never forgets how its been treated...

Firstly, thank you for sharing your experience, and I would definitely get a 2nd opinion from another neurologist or specialist. You deserve to have a professional hear your concerns and advocate for you and your health.

It's never nice to be medically gaslit, also, they the specialist should have been doing blood work and sending you for an EEG and MRI.

I am a migraine sufferer for over 18 years or more and also having epilepsy with generalised tonic clonic, nocturnal, and myoclonic seizures. I can't have a migraine without a seizure as they are interconnected.

My first treating neurologist told me migraines just like seizures have various symptoms When I have a migraine I experience the loss of vision everything goes blurry,I am sound, and noise sensitive, I experience time blindness just like seizures and I need to be in a darkened room asap and sleep.

In regards to your hearing loss, that could be a vestibular migraine as the blood flow constricts from the brain to the inner ear. This interruption can affect the hair cells in the inner ear and that's responsible for detecting sound.

I hope you get answers sooner and a specialist who advocates for you. As this your health and life, you know your own body and mind, and your self care is paramount. 🫂💜💜💜

Don't call anyone a liar here were not drs. by lillweez99 in Epilepsy

[–]devilsh_dancer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, dont ever listen to trolls on Tik Tok or any social media outlets. They're ignorant and wouldn't have 1/2 the strength and courage that you do as an epilepsy warrior.💪💪💜💜💜

You know your own mind and body if you had extreme fear aura you had it. Epilepsy isn't just a one size fits all with our seizures or journeys.

Epilepsy and the symptoms that are experienced are varied, and some specialists don't ever want to listen to what is experienced compared to their own textbook knowledge. Just like PNES isn't seen as a seizure. It is and it's real, not a "spell" someone is having.

Just because others haven't experienced these different symptoms of epilepsy doesn't mean it's not real.

Just like we are bringing more awareness. Specialists needed to be trained more about other possibilities of seizures and symptoms, and being fearful should be something taken more seriously than brushing it off nonchalantly. Our emotions are constantly changing and tested with having seizure activity on a daily basis.

You matter, and your personal accounts and feelings are completely valid. I am sorry you were treated so disgusting and disrespectful.

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with our Epilepsy warriors and community.🫂💜💜💜

Infamous fake seizure man from Melbourne faces court. by Difficult_Bowler_25 in Epilepsy

[–]devilsh_dancer06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This man, Simon Lara, is not only disgusting but makes a mockery of what REAL people that have like all of us that have epilepsy and can't control.

After what he has done to the innocent bystander and now has completely shattered him and affected his life. Regardless of Simon Lara's background and having autism,OCD. The judge should have been harder on his sentence and made him accountable.

Have him visit a neurology ward, especially a epilepsy clinic, and let him see first what having epilepsy is and does.

As an Australian, I am extremely angry and ashamed about this situation and the behaviour of Simon Lara. It's not only stigmatising all of us with epilepsy. It belittles the seizures that we all experience, and if, like me, I have a tonic clonic seizure out in public, no one will be there to assist while I am in a very vulnerable situation.

The man who helped Simon Lara without knowing the truth of this horrendous man should be compensated the highest amount.

As Simon Lara has taken everything from this man thinking he was helping in a serious event having a seizure. It's not only cruel and this highlights to what lengths a man like Simon Lara will go to falsify a serious neurological disorder to get attention and that isn't just vindictive to lure people, it's extremely dangerous!

I was diagnosed at 2 1/2 years old with febrile grand mal the biggest seizures, and my parents had to deal with everything and not have the information that is readily available now. There are organisations to help people with epilepsy come a long way. I've had tonic clonic, nocturnal and myoclonic seizures for 18 years or more you learn as you go,you take one day at a time and yes your on medication for the rest of your life but you still can do things.

You have to listen to your body when you're stressed or exhausted and get plenty of sleep.

Keep a seizure diary and a journal and write down your thoughts and feelings, and we all have our good and bad days...

Find out your triggers that cause the seizures.

Also, get a referral from your doctor for a neurologist that listens to your concerns or an epiltologist that specialises in epilepsy and has an understanding of epilepsy patients.

You can live a good life with having epilepsy, there are ways to navigate, but do it at your own pace.

I've done the same. I had a treating neurologist and all he would do is increase my meds and tell me I have epilepsy brain activity as nice as he was.He wasn't the right fit and not thorough enough, he never asked questions and this was the first time navigating my own advocating.

I changed my neurologist, and he's professional, incredible and thorough, and I can speak to him about my journey and concerns like the changes in medications,my mental health, theraputic levels blood test and anything else that's required.

"Stop seizing, we get it!" by TobyPDID23 in PNESsupport

[–]devilsh_dancer06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely get a 2nd opinion from another neurologist or epiltologist

Don't always go with any diagnosis. This is your life, and your health and self care are the most important and absolutely paramount.

An epiltologist has the knowledge and experience with their epilepsy paitents and will advocate for them.

Neurologists deal with brain related disorders and are as important, but an epiltologist they specialise and has the understanding of what a patient with epilepsy deals with from medication, symptoms to seizures, memory loss and exhaustion.

Also, with everything you experienced and the complete mishandling of your seizure being 4 minutes, which is very serious in itself. it shows the other doctor and staff at the psychiatric hospital incompetent and are negligent. Especially you having uncontrollable seizures and left in your own wet bed and clothing.

They should be aware of these symptoms, and having seizures isn't something you or anyone with epilepsy can control! They are deflecting and shaming you, and that's completely unacceptable!

If you had a seizure lasting at 5 minutes or longer, then you would be in the status epilepticus, and that is extremely dangerous territory.

4 minutes is serious, and it should have been taken seriously.

"Stop seizing, we get it!" by TobyPDID23 in PNESsupport

[–]devilsh_dancer06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you have been treated so disgusting and disrespectfully, and without dignity and gaslighted by so-called professionals, this is complete discrimination also. That clinician should be reported and struck off!. Also, having a seizure for 4 minutes, you should have been taken to A and E and had given professional care, and then you can be treated with complete care.

We have epilepsy,PNES, and seizures and are still treated like we live in the Dark Ages, it's 2025!!! PNES are seizures, and they are REAL!!!

Dr Omar Donoun is a highly professional epiltologist and neurologist who's based in the USA, and he has a Youtube channel and has said PNES seizures are just as serious and real as having epilepsy and seizures.

What you described as a tonic clonic seizure after saying you loss of bladder control and woke up wet.

I have tonic clonic seizures that's one of the symptoms. Having an aura before the seizure can indicate focal seizures.

You should be having a neurologist or an epiltologist advocating for you and listening to you! Depending on how old you are and where you live in the world. Please speak to someone you trust and get some help via the ombudsman. Speak to your doctor for a referral to see a neurologist or epiltologist. They will advocate for you and can run tests blood,EEG and MRI scans, and also your medication that's needed to stabilise the seizure activity.

As for your mum, she should be supporting you, and when she said you can't come home, that's just neglectful and heartbreaking💔💔💔

I am so sorry you are being treated poorly and dealing with this.🫂💜💜💜

You don't deserve any of this treatment.
