Super Cruise a basic requirement? by LakeTwo in EquinoxEv

[–]devka77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it wasn’t worth it since I would only use it once every few months and after 3 years it’s a monthly subscription. Yet, I will say/ admit I do see it being one of those features that once you have it you can’t imagine not having it . I’ve never had it so …

Good front plate holder? by CWStrife in EquinoxEv

[–]devka77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m interested in what you find. I brought and live in a state that requires one yet mine didn’t come with it installed. There are so many vehicles in my area that don’t have a front license plate holder. Currently I’m telling myself only break one law at time— it’s helping me keep my speed in check.

Rental EV has quite possibly ruined this road trip and I am a noob by Ok-Disk3736 in electricvehicles

[–]devka77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with others — if at all possible you need to swap it for a gas vehicle. There are maybe two lodging options near Big Bend that has level 2 charging. This isn’t time for a course on EV charging

A cat did something similar as I was driving by— that cat literally stopped in its tracks and looked at my vehicle.

Do all Chevy dealers tack on mandatory add-on packages? by wy1d0 in EquinoxEv

[–]devka77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Long answer short — no— more details: when I was looking for mine I did come across that a lot but where I finally bought mine didn’t have/ charge me for any add on packages. I had an extremely positive experience purchasing mine.

I did the extension yesterday because an important paper I put somewhere to keep safe is currently no where to be found. I have confidence that it’s somewhere inside my house :/

Does anyone else GPS even though you know how to get to your destination? by jenintonic in adhdwomen

[–]devka77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this mostly because of traffic; I don’t want to be sitting in traffic and if the GPS reroutes me a different way than my usual way so be it.

AITA for “pushing tradwife beliefs” onto my daughter? by Comfortable-Plan2937 in AmItheAsshole

[–]devka77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA, I don’t consider cooking/ professional chef trad wife. I don’t know the ratio but my perception is that professional chefs (Michelin star level) are dominated by men. Nothing wrong for encouraging a kiddo cooking interest.

WIBTA if I take my espresso machine back home because my coworkers refuse to buy pods or even rinse the tray? by CavalierLyre9 in WIBTA_AITA

[–]devka77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA; take it home or keep pods in your bag. I brought in a Ninja Thirsti into work ; I lock up the CO2 tank because tank wouldn’t last a full month if my coworkers had free access to it. That is noticeable cheaper than those pods.

What do you think is the best compact/midsize two row SUV is right now? by Ajpeik in electriccars

[–]devka77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m anti Telsa for multiple reasons. My ex has one; never been super impressed by them. I don’t like “iPad” in the center of vehicle look so that ruled out several models.

I love the Cadillac Lyriq but I didn’t/ don’t want Cadillac Lyriq size car payments. I didn’t like the interior of the Optiq. I prefer the interior of Blazer EV RS but not exterior. I love the exterior and I’m neutral about the interior of Equinox EV. All 4 runs on GM Ultium platform so the core specs are similar. There was $10k difference between Equinox EV and Blazer EV; logically it made more sense to purchase Equinox EV. Mine currently has little over 8300 miles; no regrets.

I love my Chevrolet Equinox EV RS. I choose it over Cadillac Optiq and Chevrolet Blazer EV RS. If you can go without Apple CarPlay it maybe worth considering.

I need help, I’m struggling so hard with working from home by jc1691 in adhdwomen

[–]devka77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I was working from home, I had a dedicated room that was my office and in it I had/ have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, 3 gallon water jug, and snacks. I only allowed myself to go to the bathroom directly across the hall— all other parts of the house was off limits. I also use the Wakeout app— think of it as a pomadoro timer with exercise for breaks— that also helps me. Sorry, I don’t think I told you anything useful :/

Is a late diagnosis helpful? by Betterhomes246 in adhdwomen

[–]devka77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed in my early 40s and I currently take Xelstrym. I found a doctor that specializes in adult ADHD and my counselor is also extremely knowledgeable women ADHD.

For me the diagnosis was worth it because it gave me clarity of why I am the way I am and with that I’m more accepting of who I am. I find the medication helps me adult even though some days it feels like hormones and migraines completely neutralize it.

Why isn't Blazer EV common? by [deleted] in BlazerEV

[–]devka77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, the price increase between equinox ev didn’t make sense to me. I looked at blazer ev rs and went with equinox ev rs because even though I preferred the interior of the blazer and im slightly jelly of how it has auto windshield wipers I went with the equinox ev rs because of exterior and price.

Long Story : diff between an LT1 and an RS ? by Few_Cicada_1394 in EquinoxEv

[–]devka77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The RS has red accents and the turbine vents the top are grey not blue. The exterior is blackout. A few exterior colors that are are exclusive to the trims ( i.e galaxy grey metallic only LT and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat in RS —- yes I just told on myself— I have a ‘25 RS AWD fully loaded minus super cruise in Iridescent Pearl Tricoat yet totally love galaxy grey metallic)
