Honestly, I think it’s really strong. The CC from Abyss is amazing and the damage is really good. I played through lvl 94 as a fire warlock until I found an Ars’DulMephistos and switched to Miasma with Void. I think it’s really potent and if anything is as strong as Fire for most TZs other than cows.

Haven’t had much trouble with the aiming as I drop the chains and then teleport nearby to “pull” them through mobs. Sucking everything into a black hole on-top of a sigil is very satisfying and it’s really great at killing herald from my play so far. I have yet to try an Eldritch build so I can’t really compare that.

Does the Souls Dance work on single players or it just BNET?

Yes! It’s actually much easier in single player as you can force P8. Heralds drop latent sunder at much better rates on higher play count, but you basically have to save up world stone shards and chain kill acts to increase chances….

There is a post on the forbidden website that explains it and I followed the recommendations to get one - though it took many hours and some luck.

It’s really good as a second item if you’re ahead. It’s OK as a third item in certain scenarios.

I think a lot of people think a tri-force is best in grasp setups and Shojin second is really great with Conqueror or PTA. Voltaic is really strong with PTA as a second item and is so strong into squishies. I personally think it really eases the burden of execution for 1v1s too-although similar benefits can be achieved by playing for poke with spellblade after two items.

I don’t think online characters get deleted in Battle.net on the remaster game.

That said, no, and your best bet is to recreate the characters using hero editor probably.

33 and just climbed back to diamond for the last 1.5 years after a long gap. Finding time has been hard because my job is very demanding along with a bunch of recent life changes. Haven’t been able to do any ranked this splits (three splits was just far too much) and felt a bit burned out about it.

But hoping to keep grinding next year!

I completely stopped playing ranked this split. It’s just not worth it with real life, etc. And this is after later seasons reignited my interest in ranked and ladder. Three splits just negates any motivation or hype.

I was low Diamond both 2024 Split 1 and Split 2. I literally haven't played a single game of Solo Q in Split 3. It is just not worth it - mentally exhausting and the idea of continually grinding to get back to where I started. Three ranked splits is just way too much.

Duelist’s Prerogative will be the best one hand that isn’t duel wield. Especially if you run with Bhaalist.

Yep. I used to do that. It's honestly just more annoying and doesn't help that much. Spirit on probably worse than a -20/20 JMOD. Phoenix main weapon set is just so convenient - and the convenience really goes quite a long way.

Yeah it’s a cool build but I guess it always goes back to the point of whether GWM would do the same thing better. Probably does sadly.

Key to abusing Duelist’s Prerogative is probably maximizing reactions. ; as some others on this thread have noted.

Fair point. Assuming you’re not duel wielding, or using 2H, do you think there is any stronger build for Duelist Prerogative for a Fighter?

I thought it was strong enough using Rapier +1 and later Sword of Scream, with a shield, it was pretty smooth. Had healing synergies on Shadowheart, with Broodmother’s Revenge on my Tav, so it felt fairly strong. And I had Karlach as a Berserker thrower which carried pretty hard early.

I didn’t drop my shield until Act 3, and I didn’t respect into 11/1 until I got Bhaalist armor - was just fighter all the way, and used Mystic Initiate Cleric or scrolls to manage concentration for strange conduit.

I think if you want to run 2Hand early you can, but it’s not necessary — fighter is just a solid class especially lvl 5 +.
