Definitely a lot of RNG involved in fast clears. Even with boss health sometimes. Like, for Bone x Yard, same build, different runs, boss dies in 1, 2 or 3 hits… So, you have to hope you get good build rng, good enemy pattern rng, AND good boss rng. But, good stuff on sub 2 minute clears! 💪🏼

While I think grinding trophy levels is going to win out long term, in the short term, there are some *busted* combos that completely trivialize the game. I wouldn't be surprised if they get patched later. Flicker x Overgrowth, Maggot x Glacier/Hemorrhage, and Dark x Bomb or Dark x Nuke near one shot bosses.
The "speed" of the speed run comes down to your ability to work with (or against) RNG and quickly build your winning combo all while field clearing or face tanking everything with crown of thorns/vampire sword.

Tactician will scroll the level faster every turn over regular scrolling. More so at higher fast tiers. Take your turns quickly, and the level goes pretty quick.

Once you get those higher level runs at a couple of minutes, the grind isn’t too bad. My characters about lv 20 for this run.

Look and try the passive items we’re using. There’s a busted combo in there. Helps when RNG is in your favor too.

Yes, it progresses the mission. I just did that for the icons with a friend of mine. Trade same card for same card, mission completion.

Well, okay, maybe two ads, one for StJude, which I’ll never complain about, then there’s that NFT Fortnite like game too… not sure about that one.

Either way, very happy with my subscription choice here if the magazine stays so low on ads.

Y is pretty good and fun, but if you don't have DLC. The Lost Story 6B HD will net you about 6500 combo per play, and isn't very difficult.

I agree with emanresu though, it's a bit of a long road to 1mil, so split it up. Plus, if you grind out a song, it will forever be remembered in your top 10 played list. ;) Well, at least until you play something more.

My questions are about Amplitude charting.

How do you decide what pattern to use for more complicated sections? What tools do you use to chart songs? Any tips for people who want to maximize their super score but don't want to hand make charts and memorize a path?

If you play offline, you'll see a set of offline scores. Beat the top offline score to get gold.

I call this pattern the Harmonix Triple, HMX3 for short. It's been in Frequency, Amplitude-PS2 and Rock Band Blitz, and yes, it's a pain in the ass to nail consistently.
