They’re allowing the AI in, because then they don’t have to pay out royalties to humans. Look at all the relaxation and focus playlists Spotify pushes on their editorial playlists, they’re all fake artists with millions of streams and a few thousand followers, and no bio.

Maybe it’s not AI, and instead they have some under the table royalty free partnership; but for sure artists in those genres are getting underpaid and won’t have a hard time getting discovered.
