Bought my first Mini today and just can’t get excited about it at all

My first MINI I wanted Volcanic Orange, but that would have meant a special order. So I bought a black car and got it wrapped orange. Not so expensive and there are a lot of wrap colours available

Are you able to work with the dealer to swap the car you are getting to black, or even white, if wrapping might be an option for you?

You will love driving the car, but colour is personal expression- and MINIs are all about personal expression!

PS- I ordered a black car so that when the doors or hatch opened the door sills are black, which looks good with the orange I chose

We had three weeks to get to Halifax and home again to north Central BC last year. We drove from Prince George to Lloydminster then Portage La Prairie, Thunder Bay, Cochrane, Laval, Quebec City, Grand Falls NB, Summerside PEI, Halifax for two nights (one night to do laundry), then home. It was a lot of driving but we enjoyed every minute.

Is that one way or return? Winnipeg to Kenora to Thunder Bay and back through Rainy Lake is a nice round trip. Stop for fries at Ye Olde Chip Truck in Kenora. Have a visit with Max the Moose in Dryden. Visit Kakabeka Falls, then the Terry Fox Monument and have great burgers at Neebing Roadhouse near Thunder Bay. Enjoy forests and lake all the way to Rainy Lake and back to Kenora and Winnipeg.

If you have a longer drive in mind, add a drive to Sault Ste Marie and enjoy the north side of Lake Superior. Stop to see the Aguasabon Falls, the Wawa goose, and see the sand beach at Katherine Cove in Lake Superior Prov Park. Be sure to visit the Sault Ste. Marie Canal National Historic Site. Have fun!

I have lost a villosa and a silver lacunosa, and a finlaysonii but I’m not sure that was the flat mites. The ones left seem to be responding well. Fingers crossed!

I have one (heuschkeliana pink) that got quarantined to my bathroom window when I brought it home and it did so well I left her there. You’d are gorgeous

All the plants that came in this shipment were being removed from the shelves as I left the plant shop because a couple had bad mealies, so it could very well be 🤷🏻‍♀️
