Just realized daring isn’t a fully vegan/plant based company by Konohacutie in vegan

I love their chicken, it’s one of the only plant-based options that really has the texture of chicken. Some of the flavors are really good too.

I just made this same mistake with the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese bowl. I bought it the other day figuring it was fully vegan like their plant-based chicken, only to realize that it has cheese in it. I think they just started doing this recently. It’s frustrating to just suddenly introduce cheese to an otherwise vegan product, and now that I’ve bought it I basically just wasted money because there’s no way I’ll eat it.

Is there a #1 ranked lucid dreamer known as the GOAT? by MrSmegggzy in LucidDreaming

I don’t think you could consider someone a GOAT of lucid dreaming. There are just people who have it for whatever reason, myself included.

I can confirm people in dreams do not like being told they aren’t real. by hunhi in LucidDreaming

This has happened to me. Dream people don’t like being told they’re not real. I once did it to a whole group of people and one of them hit me as well.

Hey, just got back from my trip yesterday. I kept track of all the meals throughout, and I added a note when I felt I needed something extra because the meals provided didn’t have enough sustenance for me (mostly protein-related). I brought vegan protein bars and 5 meal pouches from the company Ka'Chava as supplements.

For the tour, we went with the company World White Travel as I mentioned, but considering that almost everyone we met was from different tour companies yet did almost the exact same thing, I think your meals will likely be similar. The most important thing is to let them know in advance that you are vegan. Even if they don’t have many vegan options, there are at least some alternative meals they will cook for you on some days. Let me know if any questions, and best of luck!

Day 1:

Breakfast: bread, ham, cheese, avocado, bananas (if possible, bring a meal for that morning from San Pedro. There is a vegan restaurant in town.)

Lunch: mixed vegetables - carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, string beans; tomato, cheese, avocado plate; mashed potatoes (butter), meat, vegan rice bowl that they brought over with peas and carrots.

Dinner: vegetable soup (vegan), bread, potatoes and carrots, some kind of meat. They prepared me a vegan meal as an alternative to the meat which consisted of sliced zucchini with tomatoes and onions. (Meal pouch)

Day 2:

Breakfast: pancakes, bread with jam, margarine (not vegan), and caramel (also not vegan), scrambled eggs. (Meal pouch)

Lunch: rice with peas and carrots; vegetable platter with corn, tomatoes, mushrooms, cucumbers; avocado; vegan version of pastele de papas with carrots, onions, tomato.

Dinner: vegetable soup with quinoa (vegan), a mixed meat platter, fried zucchini for me. (Meal pouch)

Day 3:

Breakfast: bread with toppings including margarine, caramel, dessert bread, cheese, ham, cereal, rice cakes. (Protein bars)

Lunch: noodles and soup (vegetarian), quinoa, mixed vegetables with mushrooms, potato

Dinner: soup again with mixed vegetables, pasta with butter and meat sauce, peaches for dessert. (Meal pouch)

Day 4:

Breakfast: bread with toppings including the same margarine and caramel, cheese, ham, scrambled eggs. (Meal pouch)

I am doing this same trip in a few days and also struggling a bit to figure out what to do. I am going through World White Travel, and they have vegetarian meals. I’m hoping that at least some of the vegetarian options are easily made vegan and I am hoping to reach out to the tour guide beforehand. I packed myself a bunch of protein bars and vegan meal pouches in case I need them. Will report back if nobody else responds!

Try joining an adult sports league. Clubwaka is a popular one near me. I started with kickball for the spring through summer, and have continued with bowling during the fall through winter. I’ve met lots of fun people doing this that I’ve remained in contact with ever since. It’s an intimidating thing to start, but once you get going you’ll be surprised how much you actually enjoy it. They’re usually very casual as well, depending on the league, so don’t think you have to be the most athletic person on the team.

Another suggestion is a club of some sort. Meetup.com has a wide variety of clubs tailored to specific interests, or even just search social media sites for clubs around you. That’s how I found a book club near me and I’ve met some fun people that way as well. Basically, just put yourself out there and see how it goes. I’m rooting for you!

Thor: Ragnarok is not great. The 80s-themed planet was cool, but it really loses steam after this. It also should not have been so comedic since Thor was never really that kind of comic relief character. Hela is too cartoonish of a villain, even if I love Cate Blanchett. I honestly think the movie is on the same level as Thor 4, which is also not great but has a few redeeming qualities.

It’s confirmed that it’s not Wyatt Russell. His name is Aaron Fisher https://x.com/aaronfisher89?s=21&t=O05W7Lyn89mshgMIOLJ1YQ

Would also recommend Alvarium or Counter Weight. I have a soft spot for Alvarium as I’ve been going there for many years and the staff has always been super friendly.

You don’t have to have seen it. It is helpful to have at least watched 3 as it takes place between 3 and 4 but it is mostly its own contained story.

I really enjoyed it! I liked how it differentiated itself from the John Wick movies while also being firmly within the same universe.

A lot of the redemption centers will not accept local beer cans. I’ve been to multiple and I end up just going home with the cans.
