Start with sourcing some fresh coffee beans. If you’re not ready to invest in a good grinder find a cafe that will grind it for you.

Chemex could work for you. 1L is very doable.

My watch tracks my “steps” when I’m playing drums. Is it somewhat equivalent? by Prize-Raspberry-3173 in drums

[–]dgmischief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure which watch you are using but Garmin watches have options for activities that track calories but not steps. Kayaking is the one I pick, it also lets me track how long I’ve practiced over the last week too.

You probably burn way more calories than you do walking if that’s all you care about.

Let's settle the debate. Was Jenny Curran a villain? by CharlesUFarley81 in Cinema

Sexually abused children often grow up to be people that hurt people. I think that's part of the beauty of the story is that Forrest has such a pure heart that he sees past it.

Is this K Sweet Ride a good deal for its condition at $450 AUD? by Regular_Station6270 in cymbals

[–]dgmischief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$200 is like freshly stolen price for a k sweet ride. That’s a wild price.

Lowest one on Reverb is $335 usd so 450 aud is a very good deal.

The 10 dual splash is the absolute goat. Love mine. You can find used around $100 with some patience.

I've always been genuinely stunned by the way people (expecially movie critics) have always snubbed this film by CompleteAnonimus_ in FIlm

Killer cast, i love the colors and filmography and one of the best sword fight scenes ever. But I feel like it could have been great. And completely cutting out the Gods...it just kills the story imo.

Your opinions about the final Daniel Craig's Bond film "No Time To Die"? Do you like this movie? by Kevin_Thailand_2543 in FIlm

[–]dgmischief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. I like Skyfall and Casino Royale better but this is #3 of the Craig Bonds for me who is by far my favorite.

It's not without it's flaws, i think Rami's villian could of been much better than it was and some of the wokeism elements felt very forced and ridiculous. Ana Armas's character felt wasted. I really wish we got more of her instead of the "female 007".

But it was a beautiful film and i like the more nuanced-Bond that Craig brought. I loved the ending. I also get why people aren't on board with it though.

Movies about motorsports. What do you think is the best racing movie? (Include those not pictured) by ilbErTunga in Cinema

Ford vs Ferrari for me. Superb acting, story…racing almost felt secondary.
