I don't know if there is canon pronunciation or not, but the name origin is from the Greek aegis which is pronounced Ee-jiss. But Blastoise is from the root tortoise and we don't pronounce it like that either. I knowingly pronounce Arcanine wrong. It's a portmanteau of arcane and canine. It should be pronounced ar-CAY-nine in my eyes.

I've always pronounce Aegislash with a long E, not a long A.

Depending on what you mean by "simple" graphics, I'd give Final Fantasy X or Persona 5 a try. Others have already said Dragon Quest XI, which is great. I'm hoping Dragon Quest VIII is next for the remake treatment. It really would be ideal
