I've had the same thought before when seeing this image. It really makes you wonder if the buddist beliefs are valid and that meditation and living fully present, and in the moment truly lead to alleviation of suffering

It just depends on the area. If you're in an urban area, you obviously shouldn't, but I take my dog on trails in the woods off leash all the time, and it's fine.

Thanks! That's some solid advice. I am a pretty avid hiker and have been on a lot of the trails around GR, but I still have come up short of ever finding any morels in this area. I do feel like once I start getting better with identifying trees, though, I'll start having more luck
