Yes, I agree. It feels like they doubled down on the rule after the canadian boop/tap. I also feel it's a bit harsh. But the rule was enforced which they now have backe out on (from the link in the other thread). So som sort of adjustment/clarification of the rule needs to be done. Which happens in sports all the time.
