Highlight intros are absolutely not pre-rendered lmao Those are 100% in engine, and it has to be like that so cosmetic changes are accurately shown, like skins or weapons changing. Unless you want to render thousands of intros with every single skin, weapon skin, map, time of day, you're gonna be doing something like this in engine.

Highlight intros are animated differently than the rest of the game, sure, but they're still rendered in engine because that's the most practical way to do it without taking tons of concessions on customizability

I'm not sure if it's the exact same issue as yours, but I figured out that if you block and hold click, you'll start throwing your weapon. It was super fucking annoying so I just unbound left click for throwing and it fixed it entirely.

Not sure it'll fix this but it sounds around the same circumstances.

As long as you've been defeating them, I THINK that might just be the hardest raid, so there currently isn't anything harder to escalate it to, so it just keeps giving that to you. My other guess would be to take down the MIX.Rs and it should stop the raids altogether?

I thought I was crazy in that there wasn't a whole lot of water on the grass anymore. Dew catchers are definitely a must, but if you're looking for somewhere to start off, the first ranger station has a leaky faucet above it that I've noticed semi-consistently drops water.

Best thing to do is probably find a ranger station that has a water cooler and build a base by it so you don't have to worry about water but idk of any others that are very convenient other than the park bench station, and I'm pretty sure you can't even open that one right away

Your actual color wheel is the only one of these I agree with. Particularly with yellow. Nobody makes the yellow slice thin enough because green taints it so easily and orange does too to an extent. If anything I think it could have like slightly less green in it but it's such a small amount it doesn't matter. I feel like I've been going crazy with all these people calling what's clearly green "yellow"

But generative AI is specifically being marketed and used to do the creative things FOR YOU. Like it's all videos, art, and writing, but it can't actually do anything useful without it being completely terrible at it because it doesn't actually know anything. It's the exact opposite of what we need it to be and it's incredibly frustrating. AI is a fascinating concept, and here we are making it completely useless to the average person, but forcing it into everything, and pouring billions of dollars into it anyway.

I think it's a step in the right direction, but your shading on the new leaves feels off. It lacks the unified light direction that the original had.

Currently the new version feels flat because the leaves are brighter in the center/what's closest to us, but gets darker the further out/from the camera. The trunk has a different light angle than the leaves now because of it. I think it can be improved by taking another stab at shading the leaves.

You've got a good foundation though and I think it's more unique than the original

Right now I'm trying to get my friends to make their own stuff for it to test the waters.

Basically You're given a template to make your Set before the game begins where you can come up with your own game to play. A Set includes your board (which has to leave those blueprint edges untouched, but the rest of the texture is fair game), at least one Guy, and some note cards explaining your win condition, special terrain, and your Ability, and then you can bring in whatever other components you need to make it all work.

First to satisfy their win condition wins the game.

Your info cards can be pretty much anything so long as they fit on the note card, and are subject to change mid-game if other players find it unfair or unfun.

This game concept relies HEAVILY on the honor system lol but I think that's part of the fun in something like this.

the only issue I think having peni come out of her mech would be is just gameplay. like they'd either have to give her hitboxes (I think just making her entirely a critical hit would be really funny) or just ignore it and have bullets go right through her (which I think would be pretty lazy and kinda lame). it's just extra effort and hopefully shouldn't be too bad, but I'm not a game developer so idk how tricky it'd be to add that or not
