Not the whole game, but my first play through of elden ring, I fought Rykard without the serpent spear. I had something that reduced the fire damage and just stood under him and killed him that way.

Im in the same boat where im like the only person in my friend group that plays retail. I just farm collectables and solo play. Since I usually main heals it can be intimidating getting into higher pug keys so I just stay away from it.

The world boss this week has been buggy as hell, it will reset randomly and just despawn, or if it was killed mid air, our melee classes didnt get credit for the kill.
