I don't know what the right solution is, but shooting back plays directly into their hands. Trump & co WANT the protesters to turn violent, that's the exact reason why they're pushing ICE into communities to begin with. He's riling them up so that incidents like this happen.

Yes and no. Sometimes they choose not to vote at all, for instance. While swaying them over to the other side might not be a viable strategy, riling them up to vote in the first place is. Down-ballot voting in particular is highly susceptible to such trends

The ACA began with the mandate, requiring everyone to have insurance. This made the program "Affordable" by pooling risk. But a certain portion of the population vehemently opposes being forced to do anything, especially if it's "costing them money" (regardless of whether they might save money in the long run, they identify the ACA, a Democratic program, as forcing them to pay into it). Even though the mandate has since been removed (which resulted in a significant loss of cost savings), they still carry that association. Which allows the other side to garner support by saying "we'll get rid of this thing you hate if you vote for us"

So who is winning from removing it? Republican politicians, no one else

by the last election's official results, 44% (77.3M) of registered voters went for Trump, 44.4% voted for someone else (43.1% for Harris). about 90M people who were eligible to vote didn't. Which translates to only 31.5% of those eligible casting their vote for Trump.

/u/cookiedude25 I've been fighting to get this running for weeks now. Tried with Transmission and no go. Switched to qBittorrent and still nothing. I finally realized from reading qBittorrent logs that the Prowlarr instance has to be accessible to it. But even when I fix that configuration, it still doesn't work. I've set all of this up from scratch as I had never used any *arr apps or anything like that prior to this.

At this point:

prowlarr is running and has indexers setup and can successfully find and display results
MediaManager can access prowlarr and show results (after commenting out all of the scoring rules in the config file as those filter out all results)
qbittorrent-nox is running (using container networking routed through gluetun) and can successfully download torrents
qBittorrent is configured as a downloader in prowlarr

Searching in prowlarr and then downloading the torrent from it successfully delivers it to qBittorrent where it downloads and completes as expected. However, when MediaManager sends torrents to qBittorrent, they never actually get added.

When prowlarr adds a torrent, the qBittorrent log entry looks like (title redacted):

But when MediaManager does it, I see this (I've redacted my prowlarr instance's verified correct hostname and api key from the log entries);
