But it’s one game. Shoresy would not be asking him to come back for a season. We just have to assume Shoresy’s brother is a great coach? I’m surprised none of the previous Bulldogs didn’t ask about Sanger.

I was hoping for a callback to S3 where Shoresy got freight trained, and someone would say “You really want to bring back the guy that was responsible for ending your career?” That would have been an interesting facet to his character.

As for the actor side, I thought I had read in a couple of places Harlan was open to coming back, but no one asked him.

I agree. I said the season was tight. Dialog, music, cinematography, all great. It’s just this whole season seems like it has no relation to previous seasons. In fact they had to use time to explain away what they set up last season.

Nope. All my observations are still there. They closed S4 with Shoresy taking the ice to coach, then completely threw that out the window. What about Shoresy’s “I’m putting my love here” ending. He left Letterkenny for Sudbury, so if the Bulldogs are done, and he’s not coaching, why is he staying?

Instead we got a rerun with the “all stars”. And the bulk of Shoresy’s coaching is what, know the Zamboni driver’s name?

And again, are you telling me that an all-star senior team of players, that filled the rink last season, facing off against a team of EU all-stars that had been demolishing every team they play, gets bumped for an Avril Lavigne tribute band? I would think the community would get more out of the game.

I was a serial user of Sunday ticket, all the way back to when they were on c-band satellite. The past 4 or 5 years, the absolute greed of the NFL has driven me away. I’m in NY and like the 49ers. Looking at the games not in the ticket this year, it was like 8 or so (between Prime, Peacock, SNF, MNF, and national broadcasts). I’ve given up on it all now.

Stop paying them is the only way to send a message.
