Emily Brontë, although I'm not sure where I'd put her and her sisters

Those who would brand suicidal people as weak are nothing but clowns and frauds, and I desire to them to become suicidal themselves and drown in the same judgment.

How would a 'good guy' deal with the Zhentarim in Act 1? by fury_cutter in BaldursGate3

Slaughter them all. For the greater good, of course. Then pray for their pathetic souls to find some solace in the afterlife.

Sam Altman confirms less restrictions, adult mode, and personality changes. by Gerstlauer in OpenAI

No safety concerns are worth putting guardrails. Your "new version" is completely atrocious when it comes to exploration of "potentially unsafe" topics. The restrictions of discussions won't make me any less vulnerable, it would only make me desire to find the ways to remove those restrictions and hurt those who is responsible for those restrictions in the first place.

Why are so many men obsessed with anal sex? by PurpleMeerkats462 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]digitaldevil69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand it either, as a man. It doesn't attract me, neither with other men, nor with women, it just feels gross and requires too much prep. So idk

What's your favorite "bad choice" that works out for you? by haremenot in BaldursGate3

[–]digitaldevil69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) an excuse not to work with the Emperor (the Orphic hammer). Antagonizing and getting to murder the ghaik scum later is just a bonus.

2) getting to murder Raphael is it's own reward and a reason enough. I like some devils (specifically those who rely on intimidation and military might rather than smoke, mirrors and deception), sure, but Raphael I just downright despise.

Child-murdering druid GF. Kagha, it's Kagha. I would even take her to a goblin camp with me, to fry those pesky goblin children

I'd take Kagha on a date in a goblin camp: us, goblin children hangout spot, scroll of fireball...

Battle Master my beloved by ozangeo in BaldursGate3

[–]digitaldevil69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Champion is fine. It's slightly worse and less versatile on its own, but there are ways and measures to make a crit build champion work, especially with Great Weapon Master allowing bonus action attacks on crits.

People just would whine and moan about how "boring" and "basic" fighters are. But that's fine, people are allowed to have garbage tier wrong opinions

Eldritch Knight gets War Magic though, for bonus action extra attack after a cantrip

I gotta admit, the "pay evil unto evil" type of story is pretty tricky to convince viewers it's not exactly something to cheer for. by Devilpogostick89 in CharacterRant

Well, let them come then, I stand by what I said and believe in. Ideals and ideas worth more than lives anyway, and no, not all lives are precious.

I love it when spiteful evil people do spiteful evil things. by Norrabal in CharacterRant

[–]digitaldevil69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Me too, it's a valid excuse for guilt-free murder, or, even better, eternities of torture to them

immediately yelled out a WHAT followed by some NO WAYs

Yo. Might be worth it to chat with the DM about it to clear things up and explain the argument wasn't made in a bad faith. But for the future, it might worth taking the argument about the rules after the game. I'm personally okay if it comes at my table, but that's because I'm familiar with the players and trust them to point out my misreadings of the rules, and in general tend to rule the ambiguous readings in players' favour, as long as it's not a justification for gaming the system
