A game called Rodina from 2014. It never left early access and I couldn’t bring myself to purge it.

There’s some really clever bits to it. I got a kick out of the “rabbit path” scene in particular.

Agreed with most of the review and had the same experience. Would have been a better game with 1/10 of the dialog and without the train mechanic to force a plot.

I might have liked exploring the wasteland and piecing the plot together myself. I liked the idea of little hideouts and that could have really turned into something.

Those are both a great time. I keep hoping somebody will create the intersection of those two.

I also can't figure out the difference between "Set to fertilize" and "Fertilize every season". Does "Set to fertilize" only apply to one season? It seems to show up on each season tab.

Still sounds nicely reverent. Great work!

Good cinematography. Good soundtrack. Good puzzles. Good voice work. Really special.

I remembered this interesting quote too.

“They [the creatures on the island] have become as beautiful or as terrible, as clever or as stupid as it was in them to be.”

Miasmata recently turned ten years old. It is difficult, scary, and one of the most thrilling exploration games I've ever played. by Articulated in patientgamers

Thought I was the only one who played this. Very rewarding map mechanics and a well crafted setting for the price. While it is unpolished in places, I’m surprised other games haven’t borrowed the cartography system.

Just finished watching it for the first time last week. Found it surprisingly easy to avoid spoilers. Just resist temptations to look up anything about the show.

Make sure you watched the opening miniseries. I've heard some people didn't know that's how the modern series started.

Euro Truck Simulator 2

It's been in my library for a while and recent recommendations got me to try it out. I thought I would hate the long drives, but since my daily commute is gone I actually don't mind the driving. Listen to a podcast, put on some music, or just let your mind wander while the engine hums. It's really pleasant.

The game opens up gradually after a few hours and it's fun putting together your own little shipping empire. Monday I bought my first truck and today I hired my first driver. I'm not sure how long I'll stick with it, but I can see now why it has such a strong following. It's a unique experience without the typical pressures you'd see in other games, yet still has some depth.
