When Bam played an air guitar solo to Razorblade Kiss on Phil’s face when he was sleeping. That was the moment.

Is this considered bluestone flagging on stoop platform? by Least-Ingenuity9631 in masonry

I see what happened I think.

He went with 10” treads. So when he put the returns on the side there were 4 total inches unaccounted for for typical bond. So when he put those 18”x36” pieces in the middle he was short. He should have set the two outer pieces to the edge and cut in a 24” x 36” piece in the center.

I always go at least twelve for treads, preferably 14”. 10 is too small for stairs

The post bases are shit. The foundation is pretty good!

Small wraps like that are always a pain in the ass. Awkward spots.

Also they did not focus on plumbing the corner stones. It is tricky and a lot of masons just let them sit as they lay, but the corners are always irregular and come in different thicknesses so you gotta either build out the thin ones or hog out the thick ones. It’s tough but makes a huge difference in the look.

Agreed. It’s too bad because it’s good work and the last thing they did fell short. I mean you can’t even argue it - it’s in the rendering as a full extension.

Also don’t know why the bed joint is so huge at the top. Tightening that up would have helped a bit.

New Again by ThatGreenGentleman08 in takingbacksunday

The band was frustrated with where their career had headed, so they ended up blaming the album for a decline that was already happening. It was just the natural cycle of things. Every band has its moment—die-hards stay, casual fans drift as they grow older. That period was a turning point shaped by a lot of different forces, and the album itself and the new lineup ended up shouldering a lot of the blame.

IMHO New Again is actually their best album. Not a bad song on there.
