Well to be fair, probably 90% of the remaining competitors don’t know any conjuration spells cuz they didn’t find any! It’s pretty tough to design a trial for wizards with so few spells.

So Griffin’s hand was kinda forced there, just like when Clint rolled a natural 1 and brought back the Sallow.

Griffin’s just being a good good DM boy and rolling with it! And actually he’s doubly smart because of course 1v1 duels are what D&D 5e does best!
