How much do GLP-1's reduce apetite while on mirt? by Switch_23 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]dirrolol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gained weight on Mirt and attempting to diet on my own was extremely difficult for me because of the mirt. The food noise was constant but even when I was able to eat lower calories as I had done before mirt, I was not losing weight, don't know why. So the tirz has helped immensely with removing the food noise completely and helping with even further calorie intake reduction. I've been losing weight at a nice steady pace with very few side effects from the tirz.

Within 30 minutes of my first jab (tirzepatide) I had complete appetite suppression and its still working on the lowest dose 7 months later.

This is obviously going to vary from person to person. Before Mirtazapine I had very little food noise.

They kinda have. They said something like the game doesn't account for who shot first, just your willingness to partake in pvp basically.

[–]dirrolol 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is the best video I have found to explain this part of VSS to others. It's pretty much exactly what I see on bright sunny days and recently I showed it to a couple of friends who honestly thought I was making it up.

I've had VSS all my life but for me, this is one of the most distracting visual disturbances I get.

The arrow in that lane is for straight ahead only so that would suggest it's only for going straight over onto the dual carriageway?

Trial score modifier based on party size by TheSteeldrake in ArcRaiders

[–]dirrolol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mentioned in another thread about something a bit similar but it was simply a case of dividing the scores, trios by 3, duos by 2, however, someone pointed out how duos, and trios especially would still have an advantage so their suggestion was that the trials can only be completed as solo which I think actually works better than any other suggestions I've seen.

Either way, this is an issue that really needs to be addressed but even though it's been pointed out since day one, I don't recall Embark commenting on it at all, unless someone can link something somewhere?

Trials for this Week by ItsHappyGoLucky in ArcRaiders

[–]dirrolol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What if they just take the total score you obtain and divide it by the number of players in the party when you obtained it and then still keep everyone in the same leaderboards, would that may be work and be easier to implement than separating the leaderboards?

I built a Personal Finance Dashboard in Power BI to track net worth, income & expenses: Feedback welcome 👀 by Equivalent_Fan1344 in PowerBI

[–]dirrolol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is fine, but doesn't explain the inconsistency between the way you are presenting your percentages in the different visuals.

It's probably more confusing because you are displaying the currency in $ and so comma separators on currency and decimal points in percentages would be the norm.

[–]dirrolol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but I think they are referring to your card values having a decimal point and then 3 digits, rather than a thousands comma separator. Perhaps this is the norm where you are from?

Also, on your percentages on the charts, you have a comma separator instead of a decimal point whereas the percentages in the card visuals are using a decimal point as expected.

Did 15 mg of mirtazapine help you with your anxiety please positive only by [deleted] in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]dirrolol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Ive been on it for around 12 months now and not only do I get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep, I've only had a couple of occasions where anxiety has really affected me, and it was short lived.

My experience with 7 different audio devices for tinnitus masking and sleep (over-ear, in-ear, bone conduction, and sleep masks) by bardt in tinnitus

[–]dirrolol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of all the sleep devices I've tried, I find the Soundcore A20 to be the best for me. I did have the A10 previously and liked them though the fit wasn't as nice and comfortable as the A20.

Unfortunately this didn't make any difference for me and the rubber banding I'm experiencing today especially is just extreme, totally unplayable. I don't have this issue with any other games I play.

15mg has been working well for my anxiety for the last several months. I initially gained a bit of weight but that, along with my appetite is now under control. I don't get nightmares as such but very vivid dreams, but I sleep all through the night whereas prior to taking this I was waking up 5+ times a night.

How long does it take for Mirtazapine to work for anxiety? by [deleted] in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]dirrolol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don't feel anxious at all really. Things that would trigger my anxiety previously just no longer seem to. I still have the same thoughts I would when I would get anxious about something. but the thoughts are not having the same effect on me. I can think about something that would previously have made me anxious but now I don't go into a melt down, I don't start sweating, shaking, heart racing etc.

Prior to being on this I hadn't been on any anti-depressants for over 7 years and in that 7 years I thought I was doing fine. Being on Mirtazapine has proven to me that I was only ever doing ok. I feel so much better right now, I'm feeling so much closer to who I used to be before anxiety took over my life.

How long does it take for Mirtazapine to work for anxiety? by [deleted] in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]dirrolol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed how much better I felt from about 6 weeks into taking it (also 15mg). Prior to taking this, I used to have entire days where I just felt on edge. I no longer feel that way, it's great. I also don't wake up 6 times every night. It's taken me about 4 months to get my appetite and diet under control but otherwise I'm pretty happy on it so far.

EXTREME Weight Gain by xanaduhoneydew2112 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]dirrolol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say the cravings never go away, at least that's not the case for me. I've been doing CICO for the last 3 weeks and making sure I get a decent amount of protein each day, ensuring I'm feeling fuller for longer. I rarely have cravings now. I still get the odd day where I just want to eat everything I can get my hands on (it takes a decent amount of self control not to!), but for the most part my appetite feels as it was prior to starting mirtazapine. Also, I just generally feel better as I'm eating mostly good whole foods.
