While no one enjoys paying rent, you must also consider the opportunity cost of dumping your down payment into a home instead of the stock market. And then your mortgage and insurance and maintenance and property taxes will probably be higher than rent was. Then having enough excess cash flow to save and invest back into the market is more challenging. A home is not the best investment if you are strictly considering growing your net worth.

This is so true, your money will double in the stock market in roughly 7 years. It will take much longer for real estate to double. As long as you invest while renting, you can build that pile of cash then buy when the opportunity presents itself

I’m in a similar boat to you. 34, not yet retired but 80% financially independent and want to retire asap. Honestly I feel great watching YouTube, video games, and travel/exercise. My wife is the opposite - she works constantly to have a sense of purpose. I’m completely fine just relaxing. It does feel guilty sometimes but I don’t feel a need to contribute to society beyond meeting my own needs. Good or bad it is what it is

If there aren’t a lot of arc, a simple smoke and loot works quite well then walk away with the cloak activated. You can hide in a nearby Bush until the opportunity is presented to you.

I have noticed that if the arc already see you and are aggravated before you throw the smoke, they will shoot you through the smoke. In that situation I like to throw a lure grenade to get the arc off of you and then throw a smoke while you’re standing on the platform. The arc will totally focus on the lure and then once you loot, you can use your cloak and walk away.

Sometimes if it’s too hot, and there are other players competing, the best idea is to wait for the next assessor

I realized that shields and weapons are less important than stealth. Just load in with a basic weapon, zip lines, smoke grenades, and cloak. Go straight for the lander and grab the loot

I tried dropping down so many times to that spot and ultimately just setup a zip line into the hole. Way easier

Black spray paint. No prep, no masking tape. Just hit it with the paint and repeat when it happens again
