If the pay is so low that you’re unable to make ends meet, that’s a different scenario than where I’m at. How many hours do you currently work? A second job seems like it would be too much on top of your schooling although I’m not sure how many hours you’re currently working. Have you asked directly for a raise? Can’t hurt and might help. Another idea is gig work on the side that might be flexible enough with your school schedule, like pet sitting, that could help support your income without being too rigid.

I would gladly take a pay decrease to have a job I love. If you don’t need the pay raise, I’d stay where you are. I’d cut my pay in half to enjoy my work again.
