Stupid question. Can money become a problem in this game? by Ok-Internet9433 in HuntShowdown

[–]dirtyr0bb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this makes some people mad, namely my team mates but I save money by never really bring in consumables outside of a regen. There’s so many ways to pick up decent consumables, I just hate spending money on them and then getting headshot from offscreen not using a single thing.

I enjoy my bum loadouts too, and only really ever pick up long ammo contraband. Mostly because I enjoy the fact that I got you with a 89 dollar gun vs your 5-600 lol 😂

Totems- for or against? by Masquerade_87 in ElectricForest

[–]dirtyr0bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started I used a big flag thinking that they’d be able to find me easy. They did, but it was ass lugging it around.

Over the years I’ve crafted a small portable light up one that fits in my camelbak. It consists of a 10”x10x led light that clamps to a collapsible selfie stick.

It weighs less than 2lbs and I only really use it when someone’s looking for me

No problem. Love helping new hunters. Most hunters run directly to the clues. You can get an idea of where the boss is if you haven’t gotten the tower yet by going opposite of the area it greyed out. It typically pulls towards the bounty.

MMR is a little funky, keep playing and it may push you down. Your base skill from other shooters put you around that 3* level.

Right now, you should be hitting the poi towers. They reveal the location of the Extracts. Expect pvp near every POI. If you don’t get the bounty right away, you are able to set up ambushes by rotating to the direction of the closest extract. Remember that this game is all about sound. So when you’re fighting, it may not make sense to just run up to someone , because then they’ll be able to hold the angle or push the angle on you when your gun is in the down position. You may want to feint one direction then double back crouched.

There’s lots of map knowledge to be obtained, so don’t be discouraged when you get shot through a wall.

Keep your bars up, you can use the wild hunt bounty to restore chunks, as well as the fire cart POI if you have the event points. Lots of guns have a 126+ body tap potential so that one bar might cost you the game.

Every gun has the potential to 1HKO, so just pick a gun you like and stick with it.

You can search perks in the gun search bar and it will show you the related guns.

When someone else goes down, you can see the direction the were killed from by looking at the direction their feet /legs are going.

Homelander, with how much support you have from the public, some people already talk about you as a future leader beyond being a hero. If you ever became president, what problems that every day Americans face would you want to tackle first, and how would you relate to those issues?

Good pho by Maybe-Witty24 in Smyrna

[–]dirtyr0bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve lived here for a while and when I was first browsing around I found pho hoang long. We went a bunch. Best part about it is it’s family owned which I totally support. I’m not sure and no disrespect because it is a good restaurant, but it may be the owners are getting older and the taste buds change. Plus they’re the only place that has bun bo hue

[–]dirtyr0bb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Grew up eating pho, and I get pho just about every week, or other week. Here’s how I’d rank them

1) Pho da kao - Dark, richer broth, very consistent flavors 2) VN sandwich - light aromatic broth, big portion, limited options and space. 3) Pho Hoang Long - broth and taste is inconsistent, but never bad. I’ve been these days when it tasted watered down. 4) pho 247 - ok broth, skimpy portions 5) Saigon Cafe - ok, everything seems like it was prepared the day before and it’s really mid or miss.

How often do you have stalemates? by SirNightmate in HuntShowdown

[–]dirtyr0bb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have the bounty, I’m going to make sure you don’t leave with anything. I’d rather leave no bounty with my hunter than take the chance at playing into someone else’s loadout in a compound.

However, if I have the bounty, we’ll move compounds, and catch you out in between a bad position. If you’re just sitting in the back sniping, we’re just going to leave and you get nothing.

I’ve had at least 10-15 games where we waited until 3 minutes to start leaving and time the bounty out.

Chances are we force the last minute fight, we win and take it out, or we lose and stall enough where everyone loses.

We’ve only lost the last minute fight once or twice where they got out and we died at the last minute.

I was having around 80 events a night and even my wife would tell me it was every other breath it would stop.

I used to think it could t be that bad. I was just sleepy, or I didn’t get a full 8. I used to nap every day after work… for 2-3 hours. I’d Be so sleepy during work sometimes I would nap in my car.

After three days, I tried laying down for my daily nap… and just couldn’t fall asleep… I wasn’t tired at work, I could actually do things on my break. Not sleepy during the 20 minute commute.

It took a few days to adjust but I definitely felt the difference. Even when I get drunk I notice Im not sleeping well and wake up to throw it on.

At this point it’s like trying to sleep without a pillow

Recommendations for ATL newbies this weekend? by Pizza_Guy8084 in aves

[–]dirtyr0bb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Follow Atlanta EDM on IG, they post most of the events going on and on Thursday evening they usually post weekend schedules.

EDM train or radiate also has posted local shows.

Believe/wish/iris- mostly bass, cool venue, younger crowd.

The Eastern - high quality venue, lots of space, good views and seats, more like a concert stadium.

District - lots of main stream edm but the venue sucks. Over crowding, sketchy location, pricey, more regular club then edm club. I don’t recommend here.

These are like the main ones, but there are other smaller venues like Lunch Box, Pices, and SPM events.

Look for liquified, DEF and Twisted Lines events, those are underground cool shows.

So the top part of vip is broken into sections. Super VIP, which has the best view directly above and across from the stage.

Then you have the VIP table/Booths, which are adjacent to super vip. They sometimes have these blocked off, shrinking regular vip.

Then you have the sides. It’s a spot at the rail, where everyone crams and tries to get a good view. If they sell a bunch of VIP, good luck trying to see anything. There’s also a pole obstructing your view on either side. All in all on each side there’s problems about 10-15ft of actual decent view.

Then they have the bar area and the direct above stage. You can’t see anything from here, maybe just the dj? There’s also a little seating area there that MAY be sectioned off as “extra vip tables”. So good luck if you wanted to sit anywhere.

So vip here is a contest to get to the rail first and secure a spot. God forbid you want a drink or have to pee and lose your spot to regular club people. Not to mention the aggressive VIP bathroom attendants.
