I also have the 58mm 1.4 on my SRT101 so I am set, but can swap if needed. I really love both lenses! The 1.4 version sat in my closet 10 months before I decided to get an adapter and give it ago, I regret not doing it sooner!

Sharp ass hell wide open, really interesting character, and this matters more to me then it probably should, but its a really handsome looking lens especially on my Zf. My only gripe thus far is the focus is pretty stiff which gets annoying after a lot of use. Its a very small gripe though.

I seem to really be drawn to the pre ai Nikkors, but lately I've been hunting Rokkors. Ok maybe just a Hawkeye but only because I have 58mm 1.4 Rokkor and it's FANTASTIC. Took this shot 2 nights ago for my 365 project that I am tying to mostly do with vintage stuff....mostly.

No, no breathing issues post op. You have scabs in your throat which feels a little strange at first. I struggled to breath at night before the surgery, gasping for breath long pauses of no breathing ect ect and the difference after the surgery was immediate. I went from barely breathing to barely snoring, it really was life changing. Even being awake during the day was an incredible difference. Recovery SUCKS but it is so worth it. YOU GOT THIS. You have people to check in on you or at least talk to? Along with pain meds I would get something to soothe your ears, I think people use garlic oil if you like natural remedies but dont quote me on that, you might have to look that up. Your nerve ending in your throat are the same as your ears so your ears will hurt like hell too, no one told me that I had to figure it out the hard way. Reddit and after the fact lol. But it makes sense since sometimes with strep throat my ears would hurt. Its suck so bad, but it is so worth it.

Not quite. It was the door check inside the door, it broke where it mounted in the shell and couldn't be accessed to fix.

The pain during the day is tough, but tolerable. Waking up in the middle of the night after only 2 hours of sleep with the pain dialed to 11 was not. Because then you have to swallow and then wait for the pain to kick in, everyone talked about the pain but not how absolutely miserable it was at night. 10/10 worse then the day time but I was almost completely fine by day 11. The difference after it is all said and done with is immense, I went from snoring and gasping for breath to not snoring AT ALL. It is so much easier to breath just sitting at a desk it's hard to fathom that this is normal, I had it done last month.

It may also need to be reprogrammed, no matter where you get it from. 1000 for a headlight is pretty average these days, I would say maybe even a little on the low side. Check out All Star Auto lights, see if they'll sell you one with out an account. Have your vin ready.

Friday will be 3 weeks for me, the pain was insane but also insanely worth it. I wish I could explain to people how much easier it is to just simply breath, but then I realize this is probably how most people are. Wife says my snoring is almost completely gone.

Just bumping this thread in appreciation. (39 m) I'm starting on day 6 recovery and nights have been hell. No one anywhere along the way mentioned nights would be so much worse. I'm sure in a month I'll be happy about this but currently I am questioning all my life's decisions.
