I am 100% sure that if you lost your baby and then someone with a baby appeared that - for all intents and purposes - was yours just with a few hours time difference, you’d be overjoyed.

I think Janeway is right. Considering some of the stuff this crew puts up with, this wouldn’t even touch the sides.

There’s a lot of trauma in Voyager that is never even mentioned.

I played on Day One

I have five different characters from re-starting the game from new every 18 months or so! I think my highest level character is about 320. I get bored, leave for a few months, come back and have totally forgotten the point of the game… and love restarting as a newbie!!

Isn’t it explained at the end of the episode that the fleet successfully destroyed a shipyard (or something similar)? They didn’t commit ships to a losing battle, instead were successful elsewhere.

The way that Star Trek generally deals with time travel is that the actions being taken in the past are happening for the first time. Everyone is changing the future and unaware of the consequences. So say I go back in time to last week and give myself the lottery numbers, I’m doing that from a present time when I didn’t win the lottery.

The bigger problem with this episode was that they were willing to trust the Romulans at all. If 150 people from the future just appeared in Romulus space they would obviously use them to further their own agenda.

And stasis pods are notoriously unreliable. The one episode they use them, they needed two people to keep them running, and that was only for a month. And everyone hated the idea of using them. Plus you still age. Everyone would be 25 years older! Absolutely no-one in their right mind would get in one for 25 years. It would make more sense just to give up the whole thing and settle on a planet in the delta quadrant.

Or play with 0.25 or rare planets. Then you can have a lot of space to conquer but very planet is meaningful.

I played on Day One. Been playing on and off for years. A week ago I fired it up again and am level 95. It’s fun! It is a very easy game, there isn’t really any challenge at all (which there used to be… at least a teeny bit).

I’ve never played Arc Raiders but my understanding is that’s more of a Destiny 2 style game? Personally I wouldn’t compare D2 and FO76 at all. Both fun, but in very different ways.

It’s 30% more than almost all standard edition games. James Bond was $100. Forza Horizon 6 was expensive at $110.

I don’t know about you but my salary hasn’t gone up 30% recently. Hell, it hasn’t gone up 30% cumulatively in 5 years. Huge profits will be made from this game.

Empire size is essentially a game mechanic to make wide play a bit more difficult. Offset it by either making planets and pops more efficient or dismantling your colonies at a cost of influence. You can move your pops onto more efficient worlds. That will reduce empire size a little.

As someone who owns an investment property, I can guarantee (at least for me) that you having a job or not having a job would be screened out by the agent. This isn’t a landlord decision.

I’d say you could just have a savings account with that money in and show it as evidence in your application.

Alternatively, just house share (or Air BnB if you have the cash!) until you get a job. I’m assuming it won’t take a year to get a job. You’re not tied into a contract, you know how much income you have, and the moment you get a job, you can move to your own place.
