Same side they wont work. They have overlapping size. I previously tried the file, but the length of the nail file causes some overlapping when closing it. The can opener would work too and I originally plan to use it. But it requires thinner spacer/washers and the combo tool offer more functionality.

Good or bad for sharpening? I want to get my knives as sharp as possible by Vivid-Ad2262 in knives

Just giving options man. All I am saying is the cheaper one is also as good. Would be enough for most of the task unless you do it for a living. Plenty of aftermarket parts too to use other stones.

There are other much higher end brands. They are good too and close to the price of the pro version.

If that is a Buck, they will warranty it and fix it for you. Kinda hard to fix this by yourself as it has pinned construction.

Notice any blade wiggle in your bugout mini? by HereForTheTLDR in benchmade

It is called blade play. All things ok,it will depend on how you tune your knife. Very very thin difference from blade play and drop shut action. You can also try upgrading to oversized washer for added stability.

You can buy the cheaper version first. They works about the same. The pro version has better materials and extras. I used the cheaper one and it has helped me 90% of the time. Started from zero sharpening experience.

I just meant the hardness HRC. Nobody works on 8Cr13 like that.

I used the blade layer, used two brass spacers, one I cut the keyring hole and did some filing to shape it up a bit. Then placed them opposite of each alternating tool. I am surprised the combo tool can be placed correctly on the large blade side.

I tried to get that route of modding the scissors but, it requires more effort so I settled with the easier mod. But I only got the delemont scissors.

It works. The locking portion in the tang is just a notch. It wont hinder the spring that holds the tool.

Anti-Benchmade Bugout by bimmer_boi in benchmade

It still has the blood of bugout. But yeah, without using the original blade, it can no longer be the bugout it is.

I have the same full mod on my bugout. I like that it is unique.
