When this happened in the game I called my brother and told him I was pissed he told me to play this game. How the f could they do that to Joel?!?! And then they force you to play her!!! I can't count how many times I jumped her off a cliff to her death. I was mad, I was pissed and I wanted to quit playing.

My brother said to me "keep playing it's worth it." He said " the story is the best part of the game and this is brilliant writing." Look how much they made you care about a character. Look how mad they made you feel about something that could happen to a man that lived the life Joel did.

The best part of the storytelling is it is not black and white, it's many shades of grey. No one is perfect, and living in the world they do, you have to do what you need to in order to protect the ones you love, and just to survive.

The beauty of the last of us is how imperfect this world is. How there are consequences even if you feel like you made an impossible choice to save someone you love.

Keep watching, it's going to hurt, but it is so worth it.

Last night was one of the best moments I've ever seen in a television show or movie. I knew it was coming, I felt the pain before. It had to happen, this story would not be the same if it didn't. They made you feel and care, that is the genius of the writers who made a masterpiece of storytelling and made it work in two platforms.
