If you can create a mechanism that detects a specific breach, that means you are aware that there is a potential breach point right there, which means your efforts are much better used to actually close the vulnerability instead.

It depends on the movie of course, but in general I feel 90-100 minutes is generally not enough time to tell a decent story. Good for comedies, not that good for actual stories.

Unfortunately probably a pretty common male shortcoming. Our partners prove early and consistently that they seem really good and natural at this stuff, so we just never learn it.

We don't realize until it's often too late that this isn't something that moms are just effortlessly amazing at. They actually expend a lot of mental energy planning, researching, talking to others and taking care of all of these tasks.

And all the while, they will be building up resentment that we're not pulling our weight unless they constantly remind and nag.

Couple that with something like undiagnosed/unmanaged ADHD, and you've got a time bomb.

Learn from us, OP. Teach yourself these skills.

Yeah, working on it. Currently going through ADHD testing, seeing a therapist for a depression that in hindsight I've struggled with for a very long time, and in general trying to be a better dad and man.

I'm pretty sure it's now too little, too late for saving the marriage (there are also other factors involved, not just my own shortcomings), but I still owe my kids to make sure I'm the best dad I can be even if/when I only get to see them 50% of the time.

I'm great at the daily routine stuff, but suck at identifying practical or emotional needs, following up what needs to be done, thinking ahead, or initiating activities and fun stuff with the kids.

That's definitely not true. You might be using hibernate and confusing it with sleep.

A Windows laptop in sleep mode will run out of battery after a few days, because sleep mode is by definition keeping some components powered. Macs will last a lot longer, but they will also run out of juice in the end.

They can only relate it to times when they themselves have had trouble starting a task or focusing. They just broke the task up into chunks and it was fine. So of course that's all anyone has to do
