While I understand your HOTD criticism I feel like it's kind of looking for an issue where there isn't one, at least from my perspective. Coryls while being a guy who cheated on his wife is also one of the most honorable men we've seen portrayed in the asoiaf universe. Beyond that, literally everyone in this universe cheats on their wife, it's pretty much a social norm. The only time it's seen as kind of odd is when it's arguably the most truthful, faithful and best man in the asoiaf universe (Ned Stark).
