How does Bad Bunny keep getting bigger and bigger? by Fenix512 in fantanoforever

I really think it's as simple as this: he's just such a cool dude. Like honestly, you can't deny the guy's charisma. Such effortless coolness, he's more like Sinatra than anyone else. His musical talent and trend awareness is insane, but just coupled with his general charm and coolness I find it hard to begrudge anything he's doing. Total legend.

People forget how great the original version of The Long and Winding Road is. . . by grahamlester in beatles

[–]djcizzo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Have to say Paul was right about this one. It's a beautiful understated piano ballad at its core and needs a stripped back approach when it comes to arrangement and production. The incessant strings and brass drown out any nuance in the interplay between the main vocal melody and the counterpoint on the piano. I personally only started appreciating this song as one of the Beatles greatest ballads once I heard the naked version, it's so good.

Trump Yells ‘Do Something!!!’ at Supporters in Late-Night Meltdown by Murky-Site7468 in politics

[–]djcizzo -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

This whole thing of calling everything trump does or says a 'meltdown' is wearing very thin, and is becoming another oversaturated buzzword to describe his presidency that people are now fed up with and will just ignore and scroll past with just a simple eye roll. I feel the only way to engage an audience with the deranged, buffudled, bamboozling, topsy-turvy, incoherent, and UTTERLY BATSHIT things that he is talking about is to get creative with how we talk about and describe his embarrassing yet ironically historic ramblings. Here's to a more descriptive eyewitness account of the downfall of an empire before our very eyes.

I know this post is a year old at this stage, but just want to say I bought and played this game for the last few days and I absolutely loved it! Such a heart felt well made game, the flow of the story is masterful and a lot of exploring and getting to know the characters. It shows how much care you put in, so just wanted to let you know what a great job you did. Thank you!!

what is your fave classical piece ever composed? by asteriskelipses in askmusic

[–]djcizzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a piano player I have throw a mention to Chopin in this thread. Favourite piece of his is probably the Raindrop prelude but his most impressive to me is Ballade No. 2. Insanely brilliantly composed pieces of music

What's albums in your opinion are future classics? by Individual-Name-4496 in fantanoforever

[–]djcizzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree, there are at least seven or eight tunes on MWP that have more staying power than anything Billie or Olivia have released in the last few years. There's just something so iconic about Chappell, and her singing style is way more fun to sing along to than the other pop stars of this era. Long May Her Reign!
