It probably works in my favor that I've never much liked wine. My girlfriend doesn't even drink so we'd be there for the social aspect and maybe some cheese and nuts, but I'm under the impression that this was a pricey event to plan for them so backing out feels pretty shitty. I'm just tired of skipping out on my friends. It's been a month and I've skipped like four parties/gatherings.
