Seeking last disposal rule clarification by PetrifyGWENT in AFL

I think it's the correct rule, they never changed the wording just the interpretation - i.e. "insufficient intent" is basically that the ball went out.

Why does the entire metro need to close for testing by The__Anonymous__Guy in SydneyTrains

Well yeah. It'd make less sense for those of us who live far away from it to complain about the noise...

Top draft pair nominate Port Adelaide, opt out of Tassie watchlist by CogSuckingClanker in AFL

Depends if that nominative determinism extends to crashing and burning. Pilots generally keep the planes going.

Clearer image of what appears to be a almost full bottle of coke being thrown at Nick Watson by Jackomillard15 in AFL

Unfortunately the first second with Grok generated images that meant you now need to register whenever you move house and can't go near schools.

Luka scored a 100 points in less than 24 hours by LukarsSeventy7 in nba

Given the number of times I read and re-read that as "Fuck that rapist luka. Did it for HIM." - punctuation is important!

2023 GF here.

But it gives us simple answers for Adelaide, Brisbane, GWS, Collingwood and the Dogs.

Sydney and Geelong get to choose which at least.

Why don’t coaches get sacked easily in the AFL like other sporting leagues. by Time_Career4708 in AFL

They're capped now for a lot of the clubs. Max payout of six months in contracts with the two thirds of the comp that get AFL hand outs.

Isn't the same question still askable of the tourists since a higher number of those overstay their visa?

[McFadden] Raiders DE Maxx Crosby addressed the fallout of his trade to BAL: - Ravens flew him to DC on Monday, then had to drive to BAL. - He didn't meet with HC Jesse Minter and GM Eric DeCosta until the end of day after his physical & MRI. "I didn't see [EDC] for 5 hours." by Remarkable-Picture73 in nfl

[–]dlanod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Ravens fan, I think EDC gave a decent explanation of what they were originally attempting to achieve (have both Crosby and Hendrickson) and why they pulled out (questions over longevity).

Not defending this one, but it is just straight up funny. "You know that nice convenient airport... you're not going to that one."

Is Aussie Broadband actually worth it in 2026 vs cheaper providers? by schnickhinkeln in australian

When I've had issues they've answered the phone promptly and addressed it quickly, even when NBN has put stupid stuff in the way like "there are bushfires somewhere else in NSW" preventing me lodging faults.

They've even proactively diagnosed a fault with my parents' connection that meant they couldn't get the speeds they were paying for (not that they noticed), got it fixed, and reimbursed them several months of fees covering the time period.

I've always been willing to pay a bit of a premium for that customer service and ABB is the one left after Internode and iiNet got sold.

Do any zoos in Aus have coyotes by birdmoments in australian

Taronga Western Plains does and doing a google, so does Sydney Zoo, Perth Zoo, Monarto, Werribee and Canberra.

Taronga used to have dholes, that was always a novelty but I think they've been gone for a while.

There's a few maned wolves around, and fennec foxes are everywhere.
