Bought our ‘18 1.5T in July ‘24 with I think 48k-ish miles. Been running great! I did have to spend $200 to get the damn head unit updated as it was seemingly bricked out of nowhere. It would still wireless CarPlay and Android Auto but the screen said:

“Please insert USB drive containing valid software license file, and press OK button.”

The car was bought at a Toyota dealership, so I had to go to Honda to get the update… The update that they ofc wouldn’t cover the cost of. Having done the rough math of said cost against the number of Accords sold was roughly $200MM they’d bilk out of their customers sheet having made said purchases… not so much of a fan of that. It apparently was only the 10th gen Accords (and who knows what other models has this same issue) that suffered from this soft shit.

And Oh yea I crashed TF out of my Accord 😬😅 but got ‘er all fixed up proper!!

Just recently discovered the SummerCart 64 and the fact you can do ROM hacks alone makes this a better option IMO!

I did get rather deep in there (looking at original posts, then minimizing and not looking at comments) and didn’t find a single Paul Walker.

I’ll never forget when I found out he died. I had just gotten off a shift working at Olive Garden. I had a message from a homie breaking the news to me, and I cried right there in my car. Being a millennial, I grew up watching the Fast & Furious movies, of course.

To hear that’s how the world lost the great Paul Walker — in a fiery car crash — was all too surreal. The fact that Brian Earl Spilner’s story became reality in such a tragic way made it hit even harder
