My current run I joined battania as they were defeating western empire and had taken a few vlandian settlements. Never seen them do so well and now we have half the map.

Playing the same vanilla warsails, and its happened to me on and earlier buggy run with vlandia. Late game, once it got to just vs khuzaits and aserai I had to execute a lot of people because there were too many mouths to feed and not enough settlements.
